After the sale (paid upfront for any customized work), there is absolutely no customer service. There were three of us present at the event on June 9th where two of us bought boots. We all came away with the understanding that we should have our boots around August 1st. After the sale we heard absolutely nothing. August 1 came and went. About Aug. 8 I finally e-mailed him and asked about them and the date given. The response I received was written as if he had forgotten the deadline and indicated he remembered it as just sometime in August. He then assured me that I should have them in about 2 weeks. Three passed without another word. By this time I was so irritated that I asked my wife to call and find out what's going on. He spoke to her and assured her they were being shipped the next day and they would be here today. Guess what? Now I have an event this weekend that I was counting on having my boots for and I don't have them. No communication and empty promises seem to be his business model. If you cannot purchase his "off the rack" product, I recommend not purchasing from this business. Lost money and frustration will be in your future. Oh yeah, and my friend? He got his boots 3 days ago. Over a month late and never heard anything at all.

The gentleman who helped us was very courteous and engaged but also gave us plenty of time and space to choose the belt strap we wanted. He also gave very complete advice, alerting us to the discounted belt section and to potential quality issues with one of the buckles on display. It was a really pleasant shopping experience and not a hard-sell. The custom straps with buckle and sizing were about $60 for thinner belts to $90 for thick belts. When he realized I found leatherwork interesting, he was also happy to chat at length about the process and what he was working on. It was overall a very cool experience! I spent more than I would usually spend on a belt (department store belts sometimes seem like they aren't very quality leather even at higher price points), but it feels totally worth it to have one that I know is quality, thick leather and is an art piece of its own. He even made a matching hair clip for me from the off cut from the belt strap!

Today for example, drove past it on my way to work and wow shocker, she's closed on Thursday which is a mistake. Most people shop on Thursday now, not Friday and for sure not Sunday. So why isn't she closed on Sunday or hire some people. Every time I've had to deal with her she's unpleasant and comes off as really greedy. My biggest complaint is that she buys things on wish and AliExpress for under 2.00 then charges her customers 30.00 for it! I know because I shop those places too but I never try to sell that garbage to other people as quality.

It was a fun spot to browse, and I enjoyed taking my time looking through everything. The clothing section wasn't huge, but what they had was decent and well-curated. I really appreciated that the pieces were in good condition--no noticeable stains, holes, or overly worn items. Pricing for clothing was very reasonable, which made it even more worthwhile to dig through the racks. The household items and furniture, however, were priced much higher, with some pieces ranging into the hundreds. One big downside is that there's no restroom on-site. If you need one, you'll have to walk over to the tractor shop next door--which, while not terrible, is definitely inconvenient. Overall, I wish they had a larger clothing selection, but the quality, pricing (on clothes), and overall charm still made this a pleasant stop.

I have gone 5 times now in the past 3 months and think they are pretty much equal in a lot of areas. So here's a pro/con list. St Vin Goodwill Pricing is pretty equal on clothing Selection is better at goodwill meaning they have waaaay more items. -goodwill is open till 9pm every single night; st vin is not open at all on fri sat Sun. St vin doesn't have as much to offer people under the age of 30; goodwill does. But one thing does put st vin above goodwill for me... they are not lying to the general public as a non profit. Please. Goodwill takes in more money than most businesses in cottonwood. But because of a loophole in the laws, goodwill says it provides job searching assistance to the community so it is allowed to be a profitable non profit business. The "job research center" they are talking about, is 2 or 3 computers in the back that at one time, people could use to fill out applications. First, everyone and I mean everyone, knows someone with a computer they could ask to borrow to do that if they don't have one themselves. The public library has always let people use their internet and computers free so it could have been done there. The computers im talking about at this goodwill are used to hold clothing items, they are not even in use. And I'm there 5 days a week multiple hours each time and it's been over a year since they were used to look for a job. It's just a lie to hold their status. Cuz if I was making hundreds of thousands of dollars every month, I wouldn't want to give up my non profit status either. So yes I do shop there because of a selection, but I never ever ever donate to them. Let's face it these are items that most people think of us trash they are throwing them away. Goodwill takes those items and charges a huge amount for them and then doesn't have to be taxes or anything on it. I've seen clothing with stains and rips and blood and whatever else you can think of in there. Only Goodwill has the gall to charge $30 for a stained or ripped coach bag when you can get the same bag on any reselling site like Poshmark or Mercari, it will have no stains no rips and will be less than they will charge us for it. So I prefer St. Vincent for these reasons.
