Outside of the store was a large gate of "love locks" purchased by customers. It was quite impressively full of the gold locks although I noticed a pink lock in the bunch. I had to ask about the locks so talked to a staff person about them. She said couples or singles could purchase a lock for $35 and place the lock anywhere on the gate. Unauthorized locks would be cut off. It made for a nice art installation. I have seen this done on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York too. But don't expect a friend the next day if you try to return a dress that ripped within the first few minutes of wearing. Marsha, the elderly store manager at both Dahling It's You and Isn't She Lovely, spent a lot of energy trying to get my friend and I to buy expensive jackets on Thursday, even taking photos of us. (BTW, my friend's nature is so polite that I've seen her refuse to complain when there was a long hair in her food at a restaurant.) When we returned Friday with the dress (that had ripped when she sat down in the car), Marsha was immediately so hostile --as soon as she saw us walking in with a bag--I was stunned. "You don't possibly expect me to take back a dress you've worn--I'm KNOW you don't--when you know you can mend this yourself!" When I suggested the store IS responsible for selling a subpar item, she said this had NEVER happened in all the years they've been selling those dresses. She condescendingly suggested my friend might be lying...maybe it got caught in the door, etc. She pushed the item back across the counter and refused to offer even a discount for my friend's trouble. "There's nothing we can do for you." She had us over a barrel. We'd walked in with smiles, hardly said anything during Marsha's attack and treated her with respect, and walked out in shock. Everyone has bad customer service stories but this woman's attitude was over the top disrespectful, insulting and rude. Time for her to retire!

The day I came in (today) they were running a buy 1, get 1 50% deal which was awesome!! Also service was great. The ladies who worked there were nice and helpful. I would definitely come back here next time I'm in Sedona!
