I love photo booths! So I had to get one for my daughters bday and Pink Shutter was soooo reasonable! They were on time! Setup was fast and the kids... the KIDS loved it! The props were on point and the booth was so simple that the kids were working it themselves and having a blast! It was such a hit and to get the flash drive after and look through the pictures was the best part! I'll upload some pictures because these were the best pictures I've ever seen! The props were really a hit! This was a really great idea for my daughters first birthday. The hall was small, however the booth did not take up a lot of space at all. It was perfect! Used Pink Shutter Booth for our wedding. They are competitively priced and offer to price match other photo booth vendors. Their packages are easily viewed and booked online. The day of the wedding they arrived on time and set up their large, spacious photo booth. The pictures print out fast but the quality of the photos are so washed out making everyone look pale or gaunt. It's strange because the photo looks great on the screen but the photo prints poorly. They do upload the digital files, which are much higher quality than the prints you receive, online but you have to "buy" your photo !? Good price but I would not utilize them for significant events such as weddings. read more

I'm in the process of planning my mom's 70th birthday party (good thing she doesn't have a computer or know how to navigate the internet or else I'd be in big trouble. It's the Japanese mom thing) and thought that a photo booth would be the perfect way to help celebrate the big...er, um..milestone. I jumped on Yelp and found Pink Shutter. Of course there are other photo booth companies but Pink Shutter stuck out the most because of it's 5 star rating across the board. Plus the reviews were great and every review emphasized customer service. I'm a HUGE stickler for customer service but before making my final decision I did some research and found Pink Shutter not only emphasized customer service but was all about the customer having a great experience. I sent them a message through Yelp asking if the date was available and heard back from them within 24 hours. I honestly didn't think I'd hear back so soon as I've sent messages to other businesses through Yelp numerous times and didn't hear back as quickly or sometimes not at all. I was very pleasantly surprised. I called the number they provided and spoke to Kenji. I must give props to Kenji, not only was he professional, he was very friendly and helpful as well. He explained different package options to me and even took the time to explain what each package entailed. I was on the phone with him for quite some time and he was friendly the whole time. I didn't feel like he was trying to rush me or push a higher package on me. They really work within your budget. After deciding what I wanted, he told me I could book online and he'd walk me through the process. As we were booking the event, I remember seeing a $125 coupon for $95 on Yelp. I mentioned this to him but he told me he had a different coupon I could use exclusively for Hawaii that would make it cheaper. So folks when you book, make sure to ask for any Hawaii specials. Kenji also told me the attendants would come professionally dressed and I jokingly asked if they could come dressed in their grooviest 70s outfit since that's the theme and he said they would! They really mean it when they say it's about the customer's overall experience! The check out process was easy breezy. Fast forward 36 hours later. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel. I booked the date (for late November) late Friday afternoon and being that it was Sunday with Monday being a holiday, I was fearful I wouldn't be able to cancel if I waited another hour let alone another minute. I hurriedly sent an e-mail to Pink Shutter explaining my situation. First thing Tuesday morning, I received a phone call from Lance, I believe he is the manager. I explained my situation to him and he was very understanding. He is in the process of working with me on getting a full refund. I have to say that when Pink Shutter says they are all about customer service, they really mean what they say. I experienced it from my very first interaction with them. They do aim to please and for them it's all about customer service. As most of you know from my reviews, customer service is one of my top priorities that I always look for in any business. Pink Shutter delivers on that level in so many ways. Lance doesn't know this, but I'm going through a very difficult & stressful time right now, his kind gesture of going beyond and helping me with my refund really struck a chord with me. I couldn't possibly convey just how much that means. It might seems like a small gesture but the fact that this company isn't about making money but is more about satisfying their clients speaks volumes to me. Lance even told me that he would check back with me within the week. Thank you Lance for assisting me! I was very excited to use this company, despite people telling me not to use a "mainland" company. TRUST your friends!! They were great when you first contact them (as most companies wanting your business aka "money") would be (took less than 12 hours for a response). Due to an unforeseen circumstance, we had to cancel our wedding. Knowing we were not going to get a refund if we were past 30 days (or at all in this case). Mind you when you go through the process they drill into you the "amount of days things are due and your timeline". NOTE to self, before booking have a standard for them to follow for you, meaning to contact you back, etc.... as they do not hold themselves accountable in contacting you (its whenever they feel like it). I contacted them 45 days out from my event to cancel and see what options I had available since I've already paid my deposit. One day, no reply, Two day, no reply, Three day, no reply....... Seventh day, finally emailed again with a HELLO?! Finally got a reply 24 hours (9 days) later saying that I'd get a call back the next day. NO CALLBACK?! Called them, Salesman Aaron takes the call and advises me that I'm good to go on a refund since I was 45 days out, I even hesitantly asked, "are you sure?" your contract states, no refund, BUT GREAT!" Only catch, it would take up to two weeks for his manager to approve and move on it. OK, so I waited. 2 weeks, no reply, no contact. Contacted on the 2.5 week mark, just to see what the status was on my refund that he had promised. Finally 3 weeks pass, No reply, no response. So I contact AGAIN!! to see what the status is. Email reply- "I'm unable to process your request, please contact our manager". He send the information for me to contact (vs. just ccing his manager whom should be calling me to correct and fix this neglectful customer service). Not even, a let me get my manager in on this to assist as I may not know what I'm doing, but I need to go search for his manager and explain the whole thing because he is unable to do so. Skip ahead 27 days later, relenteless emails, missed calls, call backs, and a bunch of running around just for ONE STRAIGHT answer. I then asked, if this was protocal to alllow this much time just for a simple answer of options since we will not be proceeding with our event. NO ONE was able to assist us or even just give a simple courteous email saying that it was being taken care of. Just another case and point of a mainland company taking your money and leaving you high and dry!! Sad sad day for this company, that and I just had such high hopes. read more

These guys were awesome! They brought the party to the party. I had an event coming up and I wanted to make it a little more special and I've been seeing a lot of events that do photobooth. People always have fun with these things and everyone is posting it on their Instagram too. I found these guys and they were actually cheaper than the other companies I searched. These guys don't just set up and sit down, they actually interact with the guests, take photos, make it enjoyable. This was the best photo booth I ever had at my parties!! This company is so awesome!! I love love love their props for the photos and I really LOVE that you can touch your own screen and it counts down 10 seconds so in between each snap shot you have some time to grab new props and hats and stuff to wear to totally change the next snap shot! Our photo booth attendant (Jennifer) was very fun and encouraging to guests, and her setup/cleanup was seamless. The coordinator (Jonas) and Lance (staff member) were great setting up what we really wanted. I grabbed a groupon deal for Pink Shutter. From the beginning, Pink Shutter was very responsive and accommodating to my requests. Their design team was quick to work with the design I wanted on our photos. Jennifer, our attendant, was more than proactive during the event. She encouraged people to take more photos, moving the camera so more people could fit, she was constantly arranging the props that people knocked all over. I called them at the time the party was to start & was told that the guy who was supposed to do my party had picked up his equipment the night before but had not been heard from since. i had a different photo booth company a couple of years ago for my daughters graduation, so when my son graduated this year the family thought it would be great to have one again. I'm so glad i went with pink shutter!! the other company i had before was "ok" but after dealing with pink shutter i realized that you can have so much more for the price you pay (which by the way was cheaper then the first company). they where professional from the start of the process to the leaving of the party. they where well prepared and very punctual. they even went above and beyond when their time was up, they actually stayed open a little longer because they didn't want to disappoint the people that was still in line (even though most of them it was their 3rd or 4th time through hahah) and when i insisted on paying extra they gave me a hard time with taking the money. i had to threaten them with a bad review if they didn't take what was owed to them, you won't find that to often. so i guess what I'm trying to say is, if there is any reason you should need a photo booth seriously give them a call, you won't be disappointed. i wasn't. read more

They reported that someone called in sick, which is understandable, but they refused to service us just 5 hours before the party!
