I asked for something completely different than what they gave me. The customer service is atrocious no matter how many times you call they will not answer, at the Charleston location or the Help center for pink soda. Worst blow out I've ever had. Sad I paid money for something I could've done way better myself. I waited 25 min after my appt time before they got to me. Girl was lovely who worked on my hair but she put in waaay too many products, all my hair felt stiff to the touch, and after 10 min all the curl fell out. Can't wait to wash my hair. read more

Do not go there! Made an appointment for myself and a friend for hair and makeup months in advance speaking with an individual. We are here for a wedding and got to the luxury (not quite) salon and no one was there! Called and they said they don't have an appointment for me and said it must have been the app. Nope! Scheduled with them the night before an event for a blowout. I was notified the next day the event was canceled, so I called to reschedule for the new event day. Came here before a wedding with my sister. Lori styled my hair beautifully, and it lasted extremely well, and my sister really liked her results as well. Service made us feel at home too, and we enjoyed complimentary champagne. The wedding party actually wished they had come themselves. I would definitely come back here. read more

THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!! I went in for a dry styling with a friend on 4/21 before my baby shower. Our appointment was at 11:30 and when we arrived to the salon the doors were locked. After several minutes, we were greeted by our extremely frazzled stylist who told us she was the only one that had shown up for work that day. She said she would try to get us both done as quickly as possible. She started with my hair and the entire time she was styling it, she alternated between being in literal tears and talking about how poorly the business was run and how out of touch the owner is, to trying to make normal conversation. Other appointments started coming in and she would start crying every time another customer opened the door. Once she finished my hair, she asked my friend if she still wanted her hair done. My friend, clearly seeing how overworked and unstable the stylist was, said she would waive her appointment. The stylist thanked her profusely. I paid the $45 styling fee for my hair and venmoed the stylist $15 as a tip because I pitied her and her situation. My friend and I both agreed it was one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional encounters we had ever had, but laughed it off. On Monday, 4/22 I checked my bank account and noticed I had been charged $45 twice. I tried to call and email the salon with no response. I had to reach out to my stylist via Venmo to get a response from the salon via email, telling me I had been charged a cancellation fee for my friend's appointment because she had cancelled in salon extremely last minute. When the stylist had basically asked her to....they said they would waive the fee this one time and refund my money. It is 5/2 and I still do not have my money back! They keep saying it was refunded and I keep asking for an ETA into my account as I know it can sometime take a few days, but it was been a week and a half at this point. Bad business from top to bottom. Shame on the owner and whoever handles these issues, your stylist was right! read more

So very disappointed in both hair service and customer service. Highly recommend avoiding this place. They did a dreadful job on my daughter's hair for her wedding. Stylist used no volumizer nor other products. My daughter's hair looked flat and lifeless. Manager refused to have it redone, telling her they were "too busy" to fix it then and to come back "in a few hours" which would have been DURING HER WEDDING CEREMONY. Calls to the phone line go to a different location's "concierge" operator. Three phone calls over 7 days - no one ever available, no response at all, no manager or supervisor ever got back to me. My daughter had to go home and rewash her hair and have her sister curl and style it for her wedding. NEVER UTILIZE THIS HAIR SALON. Booked an apt the night before for when they open, came in and no one was there, waited 45 mins for the stylist to finally come in.... Only for them to be out of the express keratin treatment. They offered to give me the full BB which was fine. The issues started when the woman who I'm assuming was the owner came in. She was a really unpleasant lady. She made me switch stylists halfway through so my girl could work on HER hair, then told me it was because she didn't want her breathing in the chemicals from my treatment for too long, hence it was their policy to switch stylists every X amount of mins.... I've been getting Brazilians for a long time and I've never had this happen to me. She also switched me so that my head was hanging halfway out the door!!! It was super ghetto and I felt hella uncomfortable. All the stylists were super sweet though, despite the lateness, which I can understand since I made the apt late the previous night, and they have some weird automated system. lesson learned.... Should have read other reviews before going here. Normally I am exclusive to dry bar and back up is blo dry bar. I will never come back to this place and I wouldn't recommend coming here if you have curly, long, or thick hair (really only good place is you have silky straight hair). They charged me for a "master blow dry" because I have thick (albeit short, at my collar bone hair) they charge anyone with thick, curly, or long hair this for the "extra time" even though I was in the chair for only 45 minutes? They told me at check out it would be $20 more so $75 than their standard blow out when on the website is says $65?? They claimed they just raised their prices and again it was for the "extra time" even though my hair didn't even take extra time...not to mention my hair looked frizzy and wasn't even blown out straight and had pieces that were wavy and not straight. I live in Charleston and will make sure people know not to go here and only recommend dry bar or blo dry in Mt. p or a salon. DO NOT GO HERE. This place won't last long . You can tell management could care less about customer service or the bad reviews considering they haven't responded to the two one star reviews before me read more
