This place has delicious cookie sandwiches! The Carrot cake one was yummy and my friend loved the Sprinkle Oreo one. Their are some unique flavors too like Toffee salted caramel and more etc. The Red Velvet cupcake was tasty and the Peanut Butter Cup one was decent. Then I also tried the Mini Eggs flavored Macaroon and the center was kind of hard so it was just okay. I absolutely loved the Raspberry Coconut Macaroon though because the filling in the center was softer and creamier. Then we ordered Earl Gray Tea Lattes and they were enjoyable. This place is a community favorite. It's a small place but they have a lot of heart. A lot of people order wedding cakes and other desserts for their parties here. read more

Ordered from here an engagement cake, mini cupcakes and Macarons, she did an amazing job I got so many compliments on how delicious the Macarons, the cupcakes and the cake were. She did a beautiful job decorating and kept to the theme of the party. She added sparkles to the icing for the cupcakes that Added a fantastic touch of detail and added a flower to my cake which was really appreciated. I'm not a big fan of super sweet cake like Jenna Raes, so this was absolutely perfect it was light fluffy cake with a buttercream that was not too sweet just right. The butter cream was so fluffy and light it was to die for. At the end of the party there was not even a cupcake to be had everyone had had some. I stop in at Pinky's quite often and am always surprised by how many options they have - and always delicious! The bars and cookie sandwiches are my favourite, and my partner loves the cupcakes. Our favourites are chocolate with peanut butter icing, and vanilla with coconut icing. We recently used Pinky's for our wedding. They were very helpful and quick to respond, meeting with us more than once to try samples and go over everything. Delivery was stress-free, and the cupcakes were a huge hit. Highly recommend splurging on some of the specialty cupcakes if you're doing a big order. The raspberry earl grey were definitely worth it! read more

I haven't been here since they changed their name from "the Cupcakery" to "the Cupcake Corner" (same owners and such but I think the name sounded similar to another shop in Ontario). Anyhow, I haven't been back in years but recently dropped in out of sheer convenience. The shop still looks the same, the cupcake offerings looked a little low. Their mini-cupcakes are $1.75 each and the cakepops (literally a small piece of cake stuck on a lollipop stick) is also $1.75 each. A regular cupcake is $3. I think the cakepop prices are a bit steep for something that is literally one bite. They aren't extravagantly decorated so you can't say it's for the labour involved - just some sprinkles and glitter. I have to say the cake itself tasted better than my first experience. It tasted fresher and the cake had a decent moisture level. If you like a lot of icing like my boyfriend, then you'd be a bit disappointed. But I prefer less icing so their portion size was right for me, but then again I don't have a huge sweet tooth! I had the chocolate cake with PB icing and neither flavour was overpowering and seemed to complement each other so if you like a richer taste, then maybe this isn't for you. The chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing was also of a medium level of sweetness but not overly rich. Service was okay, the person there didn't seem too interested. I wouldn't come running back here but they've definitely improved since my initial visit. read more

Yeah sure, their cupcakes are good. However, customer service is just ridiculous. Maybe it's time to stop buying from this place. Ordered some cupcakes for delivery, they cancel my order. Ordered again now for some maracons and couple of cupcakes, made me wait over an hour to only cancel my order last minute claiming their store is now closed. I placed my orders at 3pm. Not at 4:30pm (your current closing hour) nor 6pm(your previous closing hour). Great way to get rid of your customers. Never ordering from this place again. read more

Um... This place really isn't that special... You get to choose between a chocolate or vanilla base, and then you can choose the flavor of icing. They have some daily specials, too, but they've never really been that good everytime I've been here. To be fair, though, the last person who reviewed mentioned Cookies and Cream cupcakes and Strawberry Shortcake cupcakes, and those sound good, although I've never tried them. As far as my experience goes, however, the Cupcakery is just "meh." read more

They are said to have the best desserts and specifically macaroons in North America and I always try the local macaroons every city I travel too so being a lover of macaroons and desserts I had to order!! They were seriously perfect!!! To start, the packaging was so cute and the presentation was gorgeous, the macaroons were made better than any I have ever found and I promise I won't eat any other ones (I usually go to my local bakery but since eating Pinky's now I won't go anywhere else) Macaroons are just the tip of their repertoire tho! They have the best desserts, Moist decadent and the competition in town try and copy these and the macaroons (won't name them) but the original Pinky's here with unique flavors blow anyone else's out of the water. Oh my god! Those are the first words that came out of my mouth after biting into a delicious cupcake from the cupcakery. My sister ordered them for my birthday and I think that was the best birthday present I got. They serve the basic chocolate and vanilla with a variety of icing flavor like lemon, mint, peanut butter and banana just to name a few. Then they also have their daily specials like cookies and cream cupcake or strawberry shortcake cupcake. Terrible! The owner forgot my order after speaking with her 2x the week prior. I came to pick it up and she said she was busy and didn't have it ready, although she had said i could pick up at 11am over the phone. She asked me to return in a few hours. I literally had to sit in my car for 1.5 hrs. When I came back in she had prepared a platter that was not what we discussed over the phone. She tried to say "but it's still the same number of pieces", sure but there were no mini cupcakes, no macarons etc. It was clearly just thrown together and looked terrible. When I said this is not what I ordered, she replied in angrily "do you want it or not?!". She never once apologize. Her behaviour as the owner was both embarrassing and unprofessional. I am surprised she is still in business with such a poor attitude and basically no customer service skills. #saveyourmoney and go somewhere where they will treat you respectfully and value your business. read more

I think the name has changed again - to Pinky's Bakeshop. Anyway, I went there last week with my sister and we were both incredibly happy with their salted caramel macarons. Had we known how good they were going to be, we would have bought more. Delicious! Also the chocolate mint cupcake was very nice too. But it's the macarons I'll go back for. read more

Went here today for the first time. Store is lovely, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. The macaroons were amazing!! Best in town by far. The shell was perfectly crunchy on the outside, nice and chewy on the inside. And the icing was perfect! Creamy and not to sweet. And of course they were appealing to the eye as well. I have to say I love this place! I find both the cake and the icing wonderful if not a little to sugary but I like that extra sugar kick. So far out of my cupcake journey this place is the best. The only thing I dont like is whenever I am there, I cant get just 1 so I always get 2 but the container they put it in isnt sturdy at all so by the time I am home I normally have an upside down cupcake and I am licking the icing off the lid. read more
