Usually Pinky's is my go to--all the staff members are so kind and they always are making sure you're happy and comfortable. However, today, they gave me a $35 manicure that looked like a $15 one. It's very patchy and uneven and tons of bumps. Last time I was here, I got the best manicure ever. Worth every cent, but this one was not the same. Went and saw a dude felt like he rushed through the whole thing, asked for a full set and it came out awful, the acrylic tips feel so flimsy and he put one coat of nail polish so it was so see through. I had to go back and fix all of it, most of the nails are crooked and overall the outcome was awful. Experience was nice he seemed in a hurry though. Probably not planning on returning. read more

I had gotten my nails done here with my sister - both of our nails chipped within the week. Additionally, when my sister was getting her nails done, there was something stuck in the polish. My sister asked the nail tech to fix it, and it was worse than before she had fixed it. I then asked the woman who had done my nails if she could please fix my sisters nail - which she did. They said to come in and they would fix when we arrived they said we only guarantee for 5 days worst customer service ever. Will never return. I'm not sure why there's negative reviews! Pinkys is my go to. Their salon is clean, very hygienic, they put liners in their pedicure tubs and bring out new or fresh sanitized tools for every customer. You can see them do this. The actual service is great- all of my manicures here last weeks, even if it's just normal polish. I also think the prices are unbeatable. For acrylic nails, color changing gel polish, and a design, it was only $36. The salon is pretty, the workers are very sweet, and they do great work. read more

Me and my then boyfriend started going here last year after being recommended by a family friend, and we love it. The staff are super friendly and so kind, every time we go in there we are seated right away. They already know what we get, acrylic fill and 2 pedicures, sometimes with waxing. Some of the best work I've ever gotten was done here, super understanding and accommodating if I'm not happy with something (which is super rare). It's hard to find good quality with short nails that my daily life requires. Only once did I have a problem with chipping of a gel polish but the tech was new, older staff said it was a bad brand and she corrected it the next day free of charge. I went there today with my sister and had an AMAZING experience! Our technicians Tina and Christina were so funny, nice, and accommodating! My sister and I will totally be back in the future!! Although an irate customer came in and was completely disrespectful to our technicians and other employees in the salon (while also disrupting other clients time at the salon), everyone handled themselves with such professionalism and class! No matter how busy it is, Pinky's will always fit you in. They do fast but thorough manicures, including dipping and gel manicures, and good pedicures. The regular pedicure should last a while but if you want to splurge a little the spa pedicure is good too. Wide selection of colors and I believe all the regular colors have gel equivalents. The atmosphere is so nice and the staff is so friendly and helpful. They know the latest trends and what looks good. They are extremely clean and I love that they put a liner in the pedicure tub. You never know how well things are cleaned, but this is an added reassurance that it is very clean. I would highly recommend getting your nails done here. read more

I'm shocked that this place has such positive reviews as my experience was shockingly inadequate. My husband and I the special pedicure which was a lot of rubbing but no real massage but decent. My dipping powder manicure was a total nightmare. My manicurist claimed she knew how to do ombré but after she started glopping sprinkles all over rather than brushing it on so I had her start over after her bad attempt at two nails. I played it safe and picked solid colors instead. She piled a mountain of powder on then violently filed my nails leaving glue and residue under every nail. She then tried to flatten my mountains only to leave me little hills. This was the absolute worse dipping powder experience I have ever had- BEWARE read more

The owner Tony was so rude to me and my 9 year old daughter. At the end when I went to pay I presented a local flavor deal I purchased and I was told they was another Pinky's on Tilton road.. ok my fault.. I should I showed this deal in the beginning of the visit.. Tony screams at me pay now.. I had ever intention on paying for my services.. I told the girl I'm going to run to my car and get my credit card since now I couldn't use my deal.. Tony screams you pay now.. and tells my daughter to sit at the seat at the front door.. I'm beyond shocked how rude he was... Again my fault but for his actions as a owner... disgusted Never will set foot back in that place and makes the other Pinky locations look bad. read more

came here for a refill and I should of known things were funny when my gel polish came off within a week of them being done. Don't get me wrong they did fix that nail for me but again later on that night it came right off again. So this time I figured I would go to my regular salon and let them fix it. When my nail salon removed the polish I noticed on two nails a lite green discoloration but figured it was ok because I would be getting another refill soon. Well unfortunately the shut down happened so no refill for me. I began to take my nails off this week and 8 out of 10 nails has fungus in them. My regular salon I went to first to get a full set on February 13th and went to Pinky's salon on the 3rd of March. When Pinky's removed the polish and began to do my nails there was no discoloration, so this is why I say the fungus came from this salon. My regular salon I been going to them for years, I tried here because my salon was not able to give me the exact design I wanted and they could do it. But I would never come back here nor would I recommend anyone. read more

Went to this pinky location a few times. First nail dip was great. Second ok, all downhill from there. They switched dip powder brands and this new brand is cheap junk. The color in the jar is not accurate to the sample nail, or In the jar or your finished nail. . Within a day or two it breaks off in pieces. It's certainly not a clean salon but any stretch. It's shabby and needs new furniture. The chairs are upholstered and you can feel the springs thru the padding and fabric. My male technician works at a dirty table with dirty jars. He refilled his clear polish jar while I was getting served and he doesn't clean off the crusty buildup from the jar screw or the nail cap. Gross. Everything is less than pristine. Nail salons should be spotlessly clean. This one is not! I know two people who've gotten nail fungus at one of Pinkys salons All the technicians are lying around on the pedicure chairs while the shop needs to be swept and things need to be put away. Pinky has gotten too big and too greedy. She's always been greedy, but this is beyond acceptable. A free bottle of water doesn't make up for the cheap raw materials and dirty habits. I won't be back. The parking is a real issue and the whole shopping center is filth with trash. read more

Started going here about one year ago, at first it was ok then I made the mistake of letting a young man do my pedicure polish chipped three days later and the experience was far from relaxing. However I still kept going there until yesterday, mothers day. Staff was rude very obvious they were talking about the person I was with, they did not have many summer colors to chose from, the man that did my refill was awful, my nails are not the same length and the woman that did my pedicure was even worse. My friend and I sat down at the same time, I was done way before her and when I got home I looked at the bottom of my feet there is still dry skin. I've been here few times, had good mani/pedi. I like the hot stone massage w/pedi. Then had a guy named Eddie. Didn't bother w/stone massage. For mani, the manager (who complimented me on my strong natural nails) talked me into powder cuz lasts 3 weeks. Eddie cut my cuticles, making one bleed. Happens, I thought. But then three days later two nails cracked 1/3 way down. When I went back to have removed, the woman had to put powder on 2 cracked nails to save them as they were too far down to clip off. Then had gel to help broken nails. Went back couple weeks later, had the misfortune to get Eddie again. Tried to ask for someone else, but late and no one else available. Hurried thru pedi. Now I just want regular mani, trying to get my strong nails back. He didn't leave polish remover on long enough so he started to scrape the polish off. That didn't get it all so he took the sander you smooth acrylics with, and started to sand down my bare nails. Then polished over remainder of the gel, didn't get the powder off the one nail, just polished over it. The nails were rough under polish, not smooth at all. Next day 2 nails break. By day 4 most of my nails were broken and peeling off where they were slashed by sander. The one with the remaining powder loosened and broke off taking a layer or two of my natural nail. Went in to show manager, she said I wouldn't get Eddie again. No apology, and I paid for another manicure to get all the rest of the polish off. My mother and I decided to go get our nails done at Pinky's and I was highly dissatisfied. Although my mother was a regular here a few years ago, it was my first time and I will not be going back. My nail technician was very rude. Upon sitting down at his station he was on the phone and it was minutes before he even looked up from his phone to acknowledge me. He seemed to have an attitude and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. He was texting on his phone during most of my visit. I realized I left my bank card in the car before we got started so my mother agreed to cover it. When it was time to pay my nail technician said, "aren't you too old to have your mom pay for your nails, you should be treating her." I was so offended and couldn't believe what I just heard. I was in such shock that I didn't even know how to respond. If that wasn't enough, because he didn't agree with the colors he constantly tried to talk me into getting something else and when I was adamant about my decision he then criticized the design I wanted and told me "he doesn't do all that crazy nonsense". It was a design on two nails. He told me I was confused and could not make up my mind when in fact the only person that was confused was him and his career choice. Before my visit, I really looked forward to going to Pinky's as I always heard great things and loved the work they did on other peoples nails that I ran into over the years. Have come here several times and they're not great. My 2 daughters and I were in recently for gel manicures and pedicures as we had a function to go to that night. Worst experience ever. My nail technician could not comprehend a pink french manicure to save her life. I told her that was not the right pink and she just kept smiling and saying "you like, you like". I told her no I didn't like but she just smiled. My daughters nail color did not match on their fingers and toes despite being told it was the same color. Their nails were hot pink and toes were bright red. To top it off, after the technician was done she told us that the brand she used is very popular but chips easily and our manicures probably wouldn't last!! Needless to say all our manicures chipped by the next day! The nail tech argued with me when I asked why she would use this brand until another tech had to intervene and apologize for her behavior. While there, another customer walked out before her manicure was finished. This salon has gone downhill and we will never be back! Unfortunately their new location in Linwood doesn't have much better service. read more
