The person at customer service said the teller was wrong and that the check would be deposited incrementally starting the next day. Guess what, no money had shown up in my account 5 days later! The funds availability act of 1997 stipulated that a 7 day hold on the full amount of the funds is only in the case that they think the check is fraudulent. I called customer service back, no help.
