From the moment they started our seamless aluminum metal roof replacement I was beyond impressed with how smoothly and professionally everything transpired. David at DC Roofing has been excellent from the start -- responsive, knowledgeable, honest, and transparent. I chose him because of his abundance of knowledge, strong 5-star ratings, fair pricing, eye for perfection, and his exceptional integrity. Since November 2025 he patiently answered all my questions and followed up regularly. He submitted our Collier County permit the same day I signed and sent the permit number to me immediately. The crew (all direct employees, no subcontractors) is outstanding. They're skilled, efficient, respectful, and keeping the entire jobsite very organized and well protected. Every area -- driveway, lawn, landscaping, and pool -- is carefully covered. There are photos showing the start of our roof replacement to the completed finish as well as the crew actively working and installing the new metal panels. I have included wide shots of the organized tear-off phase, the clean installation of the new underlayment, close-up of the protected garage and dumpster area, workers during installation, aerial of the roof, and front of the house, and rear of the house, etc. After dealing with several unprofessional roofing companies in the past (poor communication and surprise costs), working with DC Roofing has been a refreshing and confident experience. His workers found that our roof had some loose and cracked tiles, and they repaired them for free. No charge for the estimate or the work. We were shocked and relieved since another vendor quoted us over $600 for fixing the tiles, and then another $4400 for additional work he said we needed. A total of over $5,000. David said we didn't need the extra work the other vendor suggested and had his men check to make sure. We highly recommend DC roofing for his integrity and customer service. All our friends and neighbors who recommended him had told us he was a fair and honest guy. We learned from our experience that he lives up to this reputation. I texted my info, made several pictures to get a message back: "sorry, not doing complete re-screens at this time due to screen availability". Clearly none of these companies are lacking business at this time, but then adjust your message on the phone stating that due to overwhelming requests you can't handle any more business or that you can't repair more than a couple screens at the time. Save the customer some time also and honesty goes a long way. They seem to have good reviews outside of hurricane damage season, so I don't want to leave a one star review.

While setting up the appointment I explained to them that this is NOT my house and although it is not my house and NOBODY will be home, the homeowner gave us permission to be on his property without anyone being there. The day of the appointment passes, matter of fact several days pass after the appointment date and no communication was sent out to give me an estimate on the work that needed to be done. I finally reach out to them myself and ask what the outcome was and they continue to explain to me that they went there but nobody was home. Not sure where the confusion was when I explained it just about as clear as I could and then for them to not contact me 1) while on site or 2) after they left is completely unprofessional. I would not recommend using there services as they do not handle their business appropriately. I was under the impression that I was contacted when I put this request of work out because people wanted to make money, I guess not.

He educated us on things we would never have known because this is not a project people do often! AT other stores, they just wanted to know what we liked and how much it cost. Here, Rob wanted to know how we were going to use our tub and other fixtures. They have been in business for over 70 years for a reason. They have gorgeous bath fixtures for less than other bigger stores. I can not say enough about the service we received. He spent well over an hour with us and just brainstormed ideas. We will be going back! Another difference between them and other places where you might buy your bath and kitchen supplies, is that they will maintain parts for everything they sell. We had Jado bath fixtures. We called 5 plumbers to get leaking shower fixed. NO ONE could find the parts because Jado (which was a very high end brand) went out of business during COVID. When I happened to mention that to Rob, he said: "Oh we have Jado parts. Since we've been in business for so long we keep those parts. I will never sell you something that we can't repair eventually, which they always do!" What a relief to know before I buy something else!

Lee Jarvis was the plumber sent to my house today. He is patient, knowledgeable, and thorough and I recommend him wholeheartedly. He even cleaned up after finishing the job. The 5 star rating is for him!! I have always been very satisfied with Bob Hill Plumbing.....they are efficient, trustworthy and dependable. They show up when they say they will and I've even allowed them access to my home when I wasn't there. The only thing I'm not crazy about, is their new practice of securing a $235 fee on a credit card prior to the plumbers arrival. If I hadn't had great experiences with them in the past, I would have called another company. I understand their reasoning, but $235 up front is a little much. For smaller jobs, the fee may not be worth it.
