Then, the washing machine in my apartment was broken for the better part of the summer and there was a leak from the hot water heater that reocurred several times. They did not offer any kind of discount or anything for this inconvenience. Finally, despite documenting that the walls were in poor condition when I moved in, they charged me $395 for painting. I received less than half of my security deposit back, even though I only lived there for a year and took good care of the place. Rental company options in Lynchburg are limited, but it's best to sign a lease with Priority One with your eyes fully open.
