My children have excelled in their musical pursuits. We have had the pleasure of working with two talented guitar instructors over the years, Kyle Tenove and Linden Conroy. Both have been extremely patient, knowledgeable, kind and clear communicators. They have created a supportive and positive learning experience. My kids are always excited to go to lessons. The lessons are always on time and the instructors have been quite flexible in providing online classes if required. The kids have been exposed to numerous styles and types of music. My son has recently learned finger picking style and jazz, and my daughter has been loving learning new chords and playing her favourite punk songs. They have grown in confidence and ability over the past several years and we could not be happier with the calibre and quality of the instructors, whom are professional working musicians. We love the ambiance of the café, staff are wonderful and welcoming. The food is always great and the cooler is packed full of soups and stews to take home. The treats are to die for. There is a great selection of locally made products as well. Couldn't be happier we found Cornerstone Music. We feel like we are part of a wonderful and supportive community there.

This is a state of the art hospital with top notch physicians and care, we can't fathom their worst of the worst unhealthy cuisine. One would have been better off with their catered sandwiches or perhaps salads, but not the choices from their grill. This was the third time attempt in this hospital, but never again. We totally understand that hospitals don't offer haute cuisine, this is the worst from our standpoint. I pity the medical staff who have no choice but to indulge in such offerings. One could keep it simple, but at least wholesome.

To make matters worse, we were rushed to order and pay the bill. After that couple left, another pair were seated at our six-person table without any explanation. Our dishes arrived in two separate waves with a 10-minute gap. They also automatically added an 18% tip for parties of more than five people, which I expect at least we should have a private table. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the server, the owner came out and became confrontational and aggressive. He raised his voice, saying I could "tell him what I am not satisfied with." Then he offered a refund, which I immediately declined, and afterward snatched a package of coffee from the counter and offered it as compensation. I refused again--it felt more like an insult than a genuine apology. After we posted our reviews, the owner privately messaged my friend, asking us to remove them and citing the "small Chinese community" as a reason we should support each other. That's incredibly manipulative. Using community guilt to pressure customers into deleting honest feedback is inappropriate and only reinforces our negative experience. I will not be returning.

This is certainly an exceptionally charming space in the heart of the old industrial district of Calgary. We especially enjoy the classy brick walls, large windows, and welcoming fire places. Everything is absolutely fantastic. Plenty of parking, and a great little spot to host your event or have your wedding.
