They basically assumed we spoke no Spanish at all. There is only 1 bilingual worker. He called the seamstress mother, whom insulted the size of my daughter to which I sent her (my daughter) away and scolded their ignorance. They first tried saying it was the way the dress sat on her. Then it was the scallop of the bottom cut. Then with a measuring tape proved the gown had a complete different size all around the dress. The only place she managed to almost match a hem length on the entire dress was a the two side seams and they were off by a 1/2 inch. I also brought over the same style dress to prove it was the same length all around. It was the seamstress that can't do her job!!! Just horrible and overpriced for crap. Almost bought sandles there too. Buyer beware. They got her size in, and they looked glued on one shoe and other was falling apart on all seams even near the heel were the fabric meets the shoe. I've never seen anything like this before in my life. Almost a $200 dress and $30 shoes Dress worth $60 maybe shoes $0. Don't be like me and shop at this store wouldn't discount and too close to the ball for me to demand money back and give the dress back! This was in Herndon, Va

Iman and DJ Kia had routine calls with us to check-in and offer advice. We knew we could trust their opinions and flexility during the uncertain times. On the day of the wedding, DJ Kia was so involved with every aspect of the ceremony and reception. He knew exactly what to do, when to do it, and how to make our wedding day an unforgettable experience. He literally orchestrated our ceremony processional and was making sure everything was running smoothly. Everyone felt at ease walking down the aisle because DJ Kia was there to send them off. We were lucky enough to have Iman MC our wedding, and believe us when we tell you he knows how to put on a show. The dance floor comes alive with Iman on stage and everyone was out of their seats and dancing the entire night. Our cocktail hour ended up going over schedule, which pushed back our reception. It was no worry though, because Iman was there to quickly restructure the timeline and ensure everything ran smoothly. Even with unexpected issues, we felt completely at ease knowing he had us covered. He is such a genuine person who truly cares about his client's happiness. We also used Night Owls for our video production and working with them was a truly pleasant experience. They captured every aspect of the wedding beautifully. In just a few short weeks, we had our trailer and wedding video created, both of which were edited to our liking. They were extremely patient with us throughout the process and the end result is videos we still can't stop watching! Thank you to Brandon and the team at Night Owls for all of their hard work. We also want to give a special thanks to Wake on the sax, Farzan on the drums, and Cyrus on the cello. These three gentleman made the music come alive and our guests could not stop raving about how talented they were. My wife and I still talk about just how great it was working with Exclusively Entertainment and we would absolutely recommend them for your events!

I spoke to the representative from Dalissa and found out they rent and deliver all types of items for weddings, parties, or any type of function. I checked out their website and saw they had everything from fancy chairs and tables to floral arches and special event items. I made contact and decided to rent the rose bush and cherry blossom trees. The delivery went seamlessly and so did the pick-up. My guests were blown away at the look and feel it gave the room. I'm extremely happy that I decided to rent these items, they went with my theme and they looked so real and elegant. I initially thought about making my own arch, but this was so cost effective and it was taken back afterwards, so I didn't need to figure out what I was going to do with it after. Plus, who can beat a set-up, delivery, and pick-up without me having to lift a finger. I will absolutely use this company in the future for any party rentals I may require.

There was also pistachio ice cream this year with the Greek sour cherry spread on top reminiscent of what I'd enjoy when I travel to Greece. The parking lot does tend to fill up pretty quick so folks can do street parking, and they have volunteered directing crowds as well.

It's pretty tiny but somehow we ended up spending about 4 hours here, mostly because of my kids. There is a small indoor portion in the church, where there are various vendors mostly selling women's jewelry. That is about 80% of the vendors at least when I visited in 2025. There was a stand selling great olive oil and olives (both of which I purchase) and a stand selling the delicious Greek desserts I basically ate every day while I lived in Astoria, Queens (one of the largest Greek communities in the US). The ladies at the bakery were so friendly, even offering my son a cookie for free (and of course he takes the entire box!). Outside, there is another bakery (with about 4 times the size of the line), and other food stalls. We got a lamb gyro with tzatziki and it was out of this world. There is a tent with music, where some people were dancing and an occasional singer or band would rotate in and out. Also in the tent was a drink vendor where my partner and I enjoyed a glass of white wine on a very hot day. The kids were drawn to the bouncy houses, which included some traditional ones and a blow up slide. It cost $10 per child for use all day. They certainly got their money's worth! There was a sign for face painting and pony rides but I did not see either and the ladies working the desk didn't know when or if they'd actually show up. Overall, a very relaxing spot. Don't expect a huge festival but a relaxed afternoon out or evening. There is also a lovely flower vendor that is a nice place to wander or buy flowers for the spring.

This paint and sip is lovely. Tori is a kind and patient instructor. The atmosphere is very welcoming. They have wine, beer, and cider. They offer a discount on a bottle if you like your sample. I can say the dry wine selection was good. I have been to other paint and sips and I found the experience here exceeded my expectations. Tori paid close attention to her class and would give individual pointers to anyone who needed direction. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. We had a lovely time. read more

I had a fantastic time at Pinot's Palette for my birthday with family and friends! The complimentary drinks were a nice touch and the music playlist was awesome. Even with some technical difficulties, the instructors gave clear directions and were so lively and funny. My painting turned out great, and it was a fun night with a great group of people. Parking was tight out front, but there was plenty of space at the nearby grocery store. read more

All the classes are held in the same open studio but in different areas. They offer complimentary snacks and tea. They have one restroom available in the studio. Book online in advance. I called to inquire about a military discount and the owner answered and provided me with a discount code. They give you about 2-2.5 hours to decorate your lamp. Our instructor Kayla gave us step by step instructions and was available for help as needed. You choose your size lamp you want when booking online, however if you decide when you arrive to choose a different style/size they can easily change it and you pay the difference on the spot. You have a choice of a variety of colored tiles and they have a template of various designs to choose from or you can design your own. You also get to choose the colors for your filler beads. Once your lamp is completed, the instructor attached the bulb and the base and she lines up everyone's lamps lit up. It was a cool experience to do for my birthday, someone else was celebrating theirs as well. Although make sure you bring your patience, focus and best fine motor skills! Although, i'm not local - we drove up 3.5 hours, they do have some other pretty neat workshops to try.

There was also so many items to pick from and you could also create your own pottery as well, they had classes for that. Of all the folks inside, only one was wearing a mask. Folks were somewhat spread out, but it was impossible for our group to maintain 6 feet of separation from the group next to us and employees were walking around the entire place and interacting with all customers without masks on. When I asked the employee why they weren't following or enforcing the mandated mask requirements, she said they didn't have to because they were occasionally sipping coffee. Yeah, right. We decided it wasn't worth it to risk ours and our community's safety to stay. It's a shame because it looked like it would've been fun. There was a large selection of pottery styles to choose from. I've you've been vaccinated, already had COVID, or have an affinity for places that don't prioritize customer safety, it may be worth checking out. Otherwise, paint at your own risk.

The whole experience was excellent and our paintings turned out pretty well compared to what we anticipated.
