Really great, easy to schedule and plenty of room to play. Great option for toddler kids on a cold day. I would recommend a bit more padding under the slide for a softer landing for those still learning how to stop at the bottom. We loved the duplo train table. Fairly clean and the attendant was actively sanitizing the area as we played.

I made reservations for us (4 year old and I) in advance for a day school was out (we went on a Monday). It is very clean and not many kids were in the time slot we had (0830-1000). The rooms are cute and clean, but overall I will say the space is small. *This is in comparison to the Little Towns Children Museum in Maryland if you've been.* As a parent I do love that they give you a token to give to your child at the end of their time to receive a snack (which they had a good amount to choose from) to send you on your way. Would recommend, just wish the space was bigger.

Start to finish - the best little play space! Super bright and very clean, welcoming staff, distinguished play areas and everything looks brand new! From pretend play rooms (vet, house, fire dept, doctor's office, grocery store, cafe, recycling truck) to areas of focus (lego/train set, coloring stations, holiday themed setup - pumpkins for halloween, books, carpet area for toy vehicles) - we were so impressed! We have a creative 5 year old who RAN into this space and immediately went to the lego train area after surveying the whole space, then took his time to investigate all the other areas. We easily booked a 2:30-4pm time slot on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty empty so we had a lot of space to move around. We also booked a slime add-on which was great (took about 5-10 minutes and we did at the end of our stay) - he got to select the colors and items inside the slime and was really excited about the whole process and of course taking it home. We were visiting from NYC so to us the space felt big and plentiful. Also, they give each kid a token at the beginning of the play time to "cash in" on a snack on their way out - genius move to have something to look forward to when trying to get kids to leave! Much applause for this smart thinking! Lots of seats for parents/caretakers, free wifi, and restrooms! We will be back for sure!

It's close proximity means that I have a go-to spot to bring the kids on school breaks, rainy days, cold days, or whenever we simply have nothing to do. While there are a few standing exhibits, the staff does a really good job at changing things up (and keeping things topical) so each visit feels special. And the best part... SLIME. We've made slime conductors, spider slime, fluffy slime, snowflake slime, glow-in-the-dark slime .. basically alll the slime. The experiment lab always has a slime option and it is a highlight of every visit. My eldest daughter went from barely reading and needing help at the beginning of our membership to fully reading and creating experiments on her own. It is so much fun to see. For the littles, there is a small playroom with building blocks, magnatiles, books, and those large blue fort/construction material building materials. My two-year old loved spending time in this room but now that she is three she likes making her own hovercrafts and setting them sail in the wind tunnel. The staff is SO kind, SO helpful, and so passionate about what they do. I love how they offer volunteer/internship opportunities to teens and will also set up special traveling science labs to Title I schools. If you are a member you also get discounted or free visits to children's science museums all across the United States which has made this membership 100% worth it for our family. If you are looking for an experience gift to give a little one this year, I highly recommend the Children's Science Center!

I was worried there wouldn't be enough activity for her age but she had a blast playing with exhibits and blocks in the interactive room. She also made "play dough" as an experiment. I came back to host a birthday party. For any parent, looking for a party venue for their child I…read morehighly recommend this place. I booked the option two party about three months in advance. What's great is that you just select a theme from the pictures they have they send you a digital invite to send out and as you get close to the party date, they'll confirm the theme and give you an idea of what the schedule is. That's it that's literally all you have to do. Honestly, if you were to just walk in the door without anything in hand other than a child, your 90 minute birthday party would go off without a hitch. They had the cupcakes, the utensils, the balloons, the beautiful room set up and they had the goodie bags. Honestly, a lot of the parents gave us a compliment on organizing the party and how much fun they had and I felt weird taking any credit for it. We had an assigned party planner that was very invested in making sure everything was running on time and that the room was set up perfectly to our needs. And at the end of the party, they packed everything up for you. What's wild is they actually packed everything back in the original containers organized and ready to go. And then these poor people had to re-organize all the toys that our party had demolished and dragged a different corners of the room all within 30 minutes. I hate planning, and hosting events gives me a lot of anxiety, so to have a party go off successfully with my minimal involvement is amazing.

First of all, the concept of a pretend Main Street USA with shops with all kinds of props and working cash registers with play money inside is brilliant. I remember playing pretend shop keeper with my brother and cousins as kids and we would have loved this place. Secondly, the place is very well maintained and has plenty of space for the more active kids to just run around from shop to shop. My wife loved it so much she booked one of their other locations for our son's birthday which is many months away.

Every plane was a crucial part of history with their own story. Such an assembly of epic pieces of aviation history in a single place must be unique the world over. We went almost exclusively to see the SR-71 Blackbird but I didn't even realize the Enola Gay was there until I was standing next to it, almost close enough to touch. To think of the mindset of the men who flew that mission, knowing full well what the order meant and the horror they would unleash that would change the world instantly and usher in a new era where the human race was capable of civilization ending destruction. Whether you see nuance or have a strong opinion, one way or the other, the presence of this aircraft is undeniable when you're a mere ten feet away. This is a place for aviation fans, young children, and any curious mind who wants to see the incredible and awesome history of both civilian and military aviation, all in one ginormous hanger.

You can spend a full morning here, running around, playing, and exploring all the different exhibits and not get bored. The general store is a personal favorite and my kiddos love putting on an apron, stocking and restocking shelves, and pretending to purchase bread and potatoes. There is also a little interactive farm, one room school house, and recreation of an old timey kitchen that are a big hit with our toddler set. In nicer weather days, they have actual farm demonstrations and lots of tractors and other wheeled contraptions for kids to look at. The cost of a morning of fun? $5 for adults, $3 for kids, and FREE NINETY NINE for the two and under set. You can tire your kiddos out, grab lunch at nearby Ridgetop Coffee (which has an indoor playroom), and have a peaceful car nap home. Truly one of the best hidden gems for families here in Nova.
