The AC in the building went out, but Richard (the manager) was super accommodating and moved us to a nearby space with AC -- plus gave us complimentary drinks for the trouble! Had one of the best nights I could remember! (In the desert during the summer) gets pretty boring. Louka was so high vibe and funny. Really loved his instructions and wasn't too serious. It's May of 2025. My husband and I went to Pinot's Palette in Palm Springs today. (The address is actually Rancho Mirage.) We had a blast, which was a little unexpected because it was a Saturday, daytime class. We knew we'd enjoy ourselves, but thought it would kind of a lazy, relaxed experience. We were pleasantly surprised! The artist/instructor, Katie, gave us a fantastic time and those painting near us would agree because they were chatting and laughing as much as we were. Katie was very attentive and made everyone feel comfortable and talented. She joked around with us and made sure we all had soda and/or wine refills, when we caught her eye with our empty glass. (I had their Pinot Noir which was delicious!) Several times she made a circuit around the room to help a painter, or replenish paint for anyone who was running out of a color. The music was spot on, too. You could hear people softly singing along. One of the great things about this location is you don't feel crowded, here. Lots of people were in attendance today, but you didn't feel like you were going to bump elbows with the person next to you. Another big advantage here, is you don't feel rushed! We almost ALWAYS feel rushed and a bit frustrated trying to keep up with the artist/instructors at paint-n-sips, but we did not feel like that today. I don't think anyone did because I didn't hear anyone muttering about being behind and no one asked her to wait when she asked if we were ready to move on. I think it's less rushed, because classes here are a just a little longer than 2 hours, and that little extra time makes a big difference. This was about the sixth or seventh time I've been to the Palm Springs Pinot's and I've always really enjoyed it here. I HIGHLY recommend you give this Pinot's a try. This one is my favorite location. read more

My husband wasn't really too excited to take me to do this. But this was my request for our Valentine's Day date. When we sat down i said i couldn't wait to do this again, even tho we hadn't even started lol. By the end of the class we had so much fun, he said he was excited to do it again! Heff was our teacher. Last night we surprised my mom by bringing her and her friends here for her 85th birthday. We scheduled it with Kat as private event. Kat by the way - made scheduling easy and answered my many many questions. There were 15 of us. Not a painter among us and none of us had ever done anything like this. The evening was AWESOME - definitely the highlight of our Palm Springs trip! Each and every one of us had a fabulous time. I honestly cant remember having enjoyed myself this much or laughed this hard with family and friends. Our instructor Sophie was so upbeat and fun and made every moment a joy. She really "read the room." They had a good selection of music and found some wonderful old music for us. We aren't big drinkers but they had inexpensive alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks bartended by Richard who had a great vibe. Spiked coffee is the drink I had and it was yummy. We brought our own cupcakes - and knowing we were going to do this They had set up a table for it. Simply put it was ridiculously fun and easy. My only regret is that Yelp only lets you give five stars, because this place deserved a solid ten stars! read more

This place was AWESOME. We were celebrating a birthday with a girls night out and we had so much fun. The instructor was great, the music playlist was perfect, the bartender was very friendly and the margaritas were tasty. Before I go any further, I feel it necessary to mention that while the magaritas were tasty, they were a bit pricey. Straight from the bottle, poured over ice $7.95 + tip. I have had this brand before and I have to admit that I've purchased the whole bottle for $7.98. However, that bottle did not include the friends or fun, so i'm going to say still say it was still worth it to me. Our class was two hours so we had plenty of time to paint our project without rushing. The location is also good with plenty of parking. Make sure you check the website for specials because they have days where the drinks are specially priced and special pricing on certain days of the week for projects as well. One of the best things is, they allow you to bring in snacks. You can't bring your own alcohol because of a certain regulation, but as mentioned before they do have a small bar with alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. I loved the experience, and would definitely recommend this place for a night of fun. Plus, after taking this class, I received a 10% coupon off for another class. Hey, that's a nice perk. read more

My husband and I were beyond thrilled to experience Pinot Pallette Monday night (3.13.2023). It was a large group, but comfortable space to move around and paint freely. The instructions were easy to follow, well-paced and effective. The music was fantastic from start to finish. It wasn't too loud, but the instructor was considerate and turned it down every time he gave guidance. Of course, the bar was wonderful as well. Now let me be honest, I've done other paint night events more locally to my hometown but this surpassed all my expectations. 1. There was current and fun music playing all night! 2. Came here with my girlfriend and signed up for a "psychedelic Van Gogh Starry Night" class. Mostly all good things to say, but there were a few cons. Pros: 1) SO MUCH FUN 2) Really good instructors 3) Loved the music, black lights, and modified painting idea 4) Really really good customer service (owner, bar tender, instructors, everyone!) Cons: 1) The location said Palm Springs, but this is definitely Palm Desert (about 20/25 min outside of town). 2) There is no WINE included in wine and paint night....you have to pay extra for drinks 3) Really expensive for NOT including any drinks (would be more reasonable if at least one drink was included) 4) Not enough parking in the complex (had to park illegally in the back of the building in the darkkkk (no lights at all) at night) Overall, I'd definitely do this again, but I'd make sure to pre-game heavily or bring my own drinks next time. I held an event here recently and the staff was fantastic to work with. A very fun evening was had by all. They have a little beer & Wine bar that you can purcahse drinks from while you paint. One of my girlfriends had her bachelorette party in Palm Springs and this was on the itinerary as one of our weekend activities. I've always wanted to do one of these 'paint and sip' classes so I was really excited but at the same time a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to follow along and produce a decent picture. Luckily we had an amazing instructor named Debby who made my worries disappear! Debby was so charming, attentive and did an awesome job instructing us step by step. She always made sure each one of us never ran out of any colors and she would compliment us and give constructive feedback to make our pictures look better. I was also impressed by their music selection here. It wasn't boring classical or calming music but popular songs you would hear at a club which made painting even more fun :) read more

Came here for the first time with my coworkers for a girls night out. It....was amazing! We had so much fun, and Sophie the artist was great at repeating steps, or helping when needed. The process in getting seats, and requesting we sit together was a breeze. Rich, the bartender, came around to occasionally asked if we needed to be topped off. Overall, it was so much fun! I raved about it, and the next day my father even had a team building at his work painting pumpkins. I cannot recommend this place enough. The drinks were great, although I was so focused I forgot the sip part completely. A lot of were nervous since 3 of us had never been before, and 2 of us were not artists. They made it super easy to follow, and allowed so much creative freedom, while still following the steps. We are already planning our next trip out here to do another. My boyfriend and I are already planning a couples night. 5/5 and we will be back :) read more

I planned this night as a surprise for my best friend who was really burned out with work. (She works in the medical profession) We had a ball! The instructor was very personable and he really made the evening a lot of fun. He had upbeat, dance music playing in the background and even had a fun dance activity to involve the group and loosen everyone up. The bartender was also friendly and he came around as we were painting to see if we needed a "refill". My friend and I laughed and I really saw her just relax and enjoy herself. I would recommend this activity for anyone who might be looking for something unique and fun. Great for a first date, anniversaries, bachelorette parties, you name it! Let me first say that we are not artists by any stretch of the imagination. My husband first experienced Pinot's Palette in San Diego for a team building experience with his company. He raved about it and I was excited (and a little nervous) to try it since I'm not artistically inclined. We were excited to see one opened up in our Valley and were so happy with the experience. We were warmly greeted by the owners and the Artist. Both Kat and Renae were amazing! Kat the owner even gave us a discount code for our next visit. Renae the artist took us step by step through each process and made our painting night a fun party! It was relaxing yet fun for all. They have plenty of adult beverages & non-alcoholic as well. Omg this was my first time ever doing a paint and wine class and it was the best time ever. I took my sister here for her bachelorette party and all of us had such a fun time listening to great upbeat music, drinking wine and socializing with others. The class room is absolutely beautiful with all its art hung up and the overall environment is very friendly and fun to be in. So fun! There are also artists that walk around the room to assist and make sure you're on the right track. Literally don't need the skill to paint! Wish there was a Pinot palette in San Diego!
