Well, I like to think I can tell a good photo from a bad one (I know mine are not that hot--but Sarah's are!). What I find refreshing about Sarah Brooke Photography is that she doesn't seem to use a lot of PhotoShop filters to produce an "effect". She offers clean, straight forward, well-composed photos. Images are not white washed from over exposure or treatments to clean them-up. Keep in mind she will make touch ups if necessary. But as with anything, if they are done right the first time there is rarely need for edits. Sarah Brooke Photography is a great find with a very reasonable price. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt anyway. On the day of our scheduled photoshoot, he missed the appointment and later told me it never made it onto his calendar. He apologized, offered to reschedule, and told me he would send me available dates. Those dates were never sent, and despite waiting several weeks, I never received any follow-up or communication. When I finally asked for a refund, I was told to go through Groupon because the voucher hadn't been redeemed. Whether someone books through Groupon or pays full price shouldn't determine how they're treated. Every customer deserves basic respect, communication, and professionalism. If you offer to make something right, you should actually follow through. Instead, I was left chasing updates and ultimately requesting a refund. I would not recommend doing business here.

The city photos are usually of San Antonio, but he's got a bunch of other cities he's photographed. The photos are typically large, colorful and really interesting! Saunders has a giant photo rig that allows him to take incredibly close up photos of flowers, and get all the great details in there as well. My favorite photos are those of irises, where they look like animal closeups. If you show up on First Friday, they often have a few bottles of wine and some light snacks to munch on while checking out the works of art.
