I really like Dr. Pinsk himself but the one front desk lady is so rude and annoying. She always has an attitude. I dread calling there and talking to her or seeing her/checking me in when I have an appointment. She hung up on me when I was trying to question something about my bill- she was getting audibly irritated with me, but she wasn't even understanding what I was saying. I also got frustrated and talked over her, then she hung up with "You can call the billing service". Which, I already did but billing service needed clarification on something the front desk said- that's why I was calling them back. The person from billing was also rude and not listening to what I was saying. Maybe I'm bad at explaining, but I literally scripted out what I was going to say, and thought it hit every point. As I said, always dread seeing or talking to that front desk lady, this wasn't the only unpleasant encounter. Don't know her name though. It's a shame because Dr. Pinsk himself has been great. read more

The physician is outstanding. However, I find the office staff to be short and non-caring and they talk to you like you are bothering them. They don't act or feel warm, fuzzy and caring. I have found this with a lot of practices. They physician is A+ and the staff leaves much to be desired putting a bad taste in your mouth overall! The physician should be made aware. read more

**!! WARNING !!** ~!! STAY AWAY !!~ Unless you would like to become dependent on or addicted to prescription drugs, STAY AWAY! Dr. Pinsk is simply not to be trusted and does not care for patients of their families; he only cares about getting a steady check from refilling prescriptions and taking payments from the insurance companies for "monthly check-ups". Dr. Pinsk has been "treating" a family member for the last 6 months for anxiety and depression due to a traumatic incident. This ultimately led him to prescribe DOUBLE the daily recommended dose of Xanax, and he instructed my family member to remain on it for FOUR TIMES the recommended time frame. After consulting with three other independent doctors as well as the FDA, they were all shocked and told my family member that was not appropriate. Upon trying to get off of Xanax, my family member immediately started having strong withdrawal symptoms; vomiting, inability to sleep, heart palpitations, and pain in the chest. After learning of this, I confronted Dr. Pinsk and his staff, only to be told that the family member "is not addicted," that the dosage was "medically acceptable," and that they were "frustrated" with me. To think, a doctor frustrated with a family member trying to look out for the well-being of their own... Finally, I was able to convince Dr. Pinsk to schedule an emergency appointment for myself and my family member, for whom I am the legal medical guardian. When we arrived, Dr. Pinsk refused to let me into his office. I told him I simply wanted to develop a medically supervised plan to ween my family member off of the Xanax in a safe way to not cause any further withdrawal symptoms. He then told me I was trespassing and he would call the police if I did not leave his property. This is not acceptable behavior from any sort of a doctor and shows what Dr. Pinsk's true intentions are: He DOES NOT care about the patients, he just wants to keep them dependent on drugs and on his "medical advice" as long as possible to keep sucking their money and money from insurance companies. I have been seeing Dr Pinsk for almost 30 years. He was my family physician who I trusted most to see my three children. My biggest fear is that he will retire before I do. Is any practice perfect - no but I have never met another doctor who tries to treat the individual and yes he sometimes runs behind but that is because he never rushes a patient. Everything is still manual with him but when with him he is looking and observing you not a computer tablet. Many years ago my middle boy had done the insurance dance with the pediatricians where to them it was just an earache and just kept to the cheapest medications. By the time I took him to doctor Pinsk it was a bacterial infection and the doc had to give him two large needles in his legs. He was better in a day. I lost my son to Fentanyl but I credit Dr Pinsk with having him for 15 more years. He cares far more about my welfare than I do anymore. read more

Doctors here are always willing to talk with you and listen to any health concerns you have and try to help. Jessica, who handles referrals and other things, is outstanding. With my insurance you need a referral for....EVERYTHING. She probably spent close to 2 hours on the phone with me while having to call multiple offices and companies to sort out insurance issues with seeing certain doctors, and continued to make sure all of my future referrals were taken care of. My husband has Parkinson disease and I had asked my doctor (a very professional doctor at Haverford Family Practice, Bryn Mawr, PA) for a recommendation for a Dr. who is authorized to give the certification for Cannabis. He gave me Dr. Pinsk. My appointment was on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 9:45 am. My husband and I arrived early to complete the paperwork for new patients. Also, we were the first one to arrive at Dr. Pinsk's office; there were no other patients in the waiting room. We waited out in the waiting room for a while before we were taken in the back for our doctors' visits. We sat in the back room for quite a while. Meanwhile, because of the long wait, my husband wanted to go to the bathroom. We were in the bathroom for about two minutes. When we came out the bathroom the doctor was standing right next to us and he said, "Oh there are no patients in the room" (which is funny because the bathroom was right there) and you would think they would look there. So "I said we are right here". Next thing Dr. Pinsk was knocking at the next patient's door without even addressing us. Therefore, we went back into the room, thinking oh well, he will see us next. Wrong, after that, I heard him go in the next Patient's room, then the next one. Then I went back to the waiting room and the people that were out in the waiting room (came in way after us), now they are in the back and he is seeing them. I am shocked that this still happens at a doctors office today, 2018, however, we were the only black ones in the office and I really do feel this doctor is very prejudice That is the only reason he would treat new patients like he treated us. Also, if you want to do Triage thing, my husband should have been seen first as he was having a manic episode due to some new medication his neurologist gave him.
