There was another customer that came in after me looking at robotics they guy literally dropped me to help him, I waited around until he finished so i could ask some questions about the robotic he was abrupt and then told me i could expect my sample result in 24 to 48 hours 6 weeks later I still dont have it lol. If he was smart he would of gotten it to me same day or called me he had all my information I would have for sure bought a new robot if he stepped up the service or even acted like he gave a ****. So two days later I said screw it went to pool store on Anne Street - Pioneer Pools they were awesome did my pool test asap as I stood there helped me with the robot choice which i dropped 2,500 immediately and purchased. Going to go back and get a new salt generator from them. Discount pool you are going to be out of business this year I am guessing your customer service is the absolute worst you just dont get it and never will it seems.....

Quality of parts is poor…read more Neither Sunrise nor Discounters will stand behind warranty. 2 air-control knobs broke within first year-poor quality tabs to hold it on snapped with regular use. 5 jets now have lost their flow - need rubber o-rings replaced. 2 jets snapped when trying to remove them. Discounters provided 2 replacement parts, no labour and ignored my request for for help with jets. Said they would order parts and never followed up. Very disappointed. Definitely stay away.

She was nice and helpful. After an initial scheduling for almost 2 weeks out she was able to move the date up significantly and had Tyler dispatched. Tyler was able to diagnose the problem with the tub quickly and was able to replace the required parts same day. It was the main board and heater. He gave me several other pointers on filtration and chemicals and was definitley knowledgeable. Owning a service based business myself i was very happy with how they handled everything and would have no problem recommending this team

I recently spent over $1200 dollars on repairs for the tub and then discovered that the tub was leaking because of faulty installation of new parts. Because I didn't call them within 30 days, they insisted on charging be $175 to come back and inspect their work. After disagreeing with them about how unfair this was to throw good money after bad, they said would not help me with the issue at all. I have heard of so many people being treated poorly by their customer service team. Be ware of buying this brand because it will be hard to service.

BUYER BEWARE - we purchased a pool for install Aug 2020. We bought a 156 BTU heater. They…read moreinstalled 132 BTU heater. They did not ask for a change or inform us. Our gas fitter noted that the heater did not match the specifications and informed us. When we called the store - they told us that head office told them to do it, and that it was appropriate for our pool, etc, etc. Now, we are headed towards litigation. We have a contract - they tried to slip this past us, we caught it and they did nothing but try to feed us a story that the smaller heater was BETTER for the pool we bought. Let's see if the judge in small claims accepts that. We purchased at the Barrie store with Vince as the original salesperson, and Karyn as the point of contact with this problem. Karyn was unhelpful as you can imagine - which is why we are doing a rating to warn others.

That's our biggest mistake! We should be proving our review 6 months to a year after the job is finished because that's when true colours shine around responsiveness to issues gone wrong after the fact. Customer Service does not end when the job is finished and it has become very apparent to me that with Blue Diamond Pools (Barrie) the Customer Service stops after they get paid. So originally (right after the job was finished) I gave them a four star rating ... what a mistake!! So I am correcting my rating ... this is my revised review - posted today - just about one year after the job was done. Blue Diamond Pools (Barrie) .. these guys talk the talk, but don't stand behind the products nor their workmanship. From the lack of timely responses to issues, to installing the wrong equipment and passing it off to be something else, to leaking pipes within days of being installed, to the insubordination of their workers with lack of respect and "I know more than you know" attitude - their customer service is non-existent. Blue Diamond Pools (Barrie) only responds once you tell them a complaint to the Better Business Bureau is pending. The new equipment was used for two months with continuous issues with lack of pressure inside the pump. It has been less than 1 year since the install and now upon opening I find there is a cracked coupling which is part of - attached to the tank's main operating mechanism - a crack which could only have happened at the time of install - it's all glued in place by them when they installed it and it is what I now believe to be the cause of the lack of pressure - which they inform me they will not repair. Blue Diamond Pools (Barrie) are worthy of a 1-star rating. This one-star rating, I am providing is because they had the good sense to outsource the actual installation of the liner.

I had a 1971 concrete pool restoration and renovation including new lines throughout, adding a jet, adding a light, new PebbleTec finish, new coping and deck. Looks amazing and hoping it will last as long as the original... 47 years... I would highly recommend this company over others. The one thing that drew me to Blue Diamond were their customer service. Other companies were slow to respond and gave the feeling that you were just another number. Not Blue Diamond... calls with a day and true interest in you and your project.
