    Hole 1 tee off!

This is my first time playing this course with a 20 man tournament. Cost is $32 per person. The greens are very tricky as they were sitting at the edge of almost every hole. In the front 9 at hole 6 I'd say it was one of the most challenging holes I've played with a zig zag to the green. There are 3 Par 3s in the front 9 and back 9. They offer a practice green but didn't notice a driving range around. There's decent meals at the clubhouse and offer a full bar. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The course is well maintained. I would definitely come back again and play here. I believe they don't offer a beer cart or atleast I have not seen one during the time we were out there. This place takes credit also.

One of the most beautiful public golf courses (voted number 1 or 2 in New England every year),…read moreTaconic offers tournament quality golf to anyone. The course is beautiful, with a manageable front and long back 9 (6500 yrs) from the middle tees. The course is open and even high handicap golfers will not lose many balls; there are really only a few spots on the course that are truly out of bounds. The staff is typically very friendly, Jeremy who manages the bag room is particularly nice. The pros are all great too. The whole place is well maintained, as they do host PGA (junior/womens) events from time to time. The greens play very fast towards the end of summer, and some of them slope in ways that will really frustrate anyone. Price-wise, the place is on the upper end if you have no college affiliation (about 140 or so) but is exceptionally cheap for students (35 dollars) so definitely a place to visit if you are in the area and still in school. The course truly cannot be recommended enough, and it offers some exceptional views of both the Williams College campus and the surrounding areas.

I played Taconic again after many years. I rarely play courses this expensive. This one is worth…read moreevery penny. The course is beautiful, challenging, and superbly maintained. You could play it the rest of your life and never tire of it. The club is so extremely welcoming. They make you feel like a member. The locker room, the grill, the patio are all wonderful. The only thing better than a visit would be to be e member. It is, bar none, my favorite place to play golf.
