As I entered the store one store attendant greeted me and I quickly responded with a hello. While browsing the surrounding I noticed a second store attendant in my peripheral shuffling the clothes. I immediately knew what that signifies sadly. She slowly made her way over to me while to ask if I am finding everything. I responded that I am looking for a particular item, which she directed me to the specific location in the store. It saddens me that for my first visit to this establishment that came highly recommended and received that type of a reception. I had to ask someone if I could put my items in the dressing room as she didn't even acknowledge my presence and that I was holding more than 1 item in my hand (the store was not crowded at the time), When at the counter purchasing my items (which totaled around $300) neither said "thank you" - they both seemed bothered or weren't even courteous enough to say "have a nice day" - they both just turned around and left the counter without a word. I am in retail myself and found the whole experience a total "turn-off" - if we treated our customers that way, we would have no customers. Very unfortunate - I will think twice about returning to shop at Apricot Lane Boutique.
