My wife and I spent 3 weeks in Oceanside after rotator cuff surgery (me) and hip replacement (her). We found Pipeline was within walking distance of our condo and so each had 2 sessions a week there. The physical therapist are pretty good here, but there is not room for error for a rescheduling appointment with the manager. I was charged $40 for a last minute urgent family issue because I couldn't make the appointment. I chose to go to Pipeline and could have gone to any other physical therapy spot in Oceanside for my business but chose them instead. So to not be allowed one reschedule was a bit extreme. The manager was very short with me and simply stated " Well sorry, but it doesn't matter you still have to pay" Sorry Pipeline you need a new manager. read more

Went in to get help with my sciatica pain. I first made an appointment and when I get there had to wait. It seemed like they were training someone new. And didn't even acknowledge or welcome me when I walked in. After sitting there for like 20mins finally someone came over asked me to fill paperwork and asked for my insurance. After all that I waited another 30mins till the person being trained came over and asked me to followed her into a room. We went over all my paperwork and questions. Asked what the problem was. She only asked and put all info into her laptop filling out my information. Then went over scheduling me asked me to do some stretches. It was more like an evaluation. Then sent me home with a paper full of appointment times. After a week I decided to just go to a chiropractor. I called ahead and asked that all my future appointments be canceled. Month later I get a bill of almost $150! For what?? I never saw a physical therapist nor did I receive any treatments. I am so angry and annoyed that they would send me a bill for doing NOTHING!!!! Would NOT RECOMMEND NOR WOULD I EVER RETURN HERE!!!! read more

After a 5 year absence from surfing + turning 40, I could not surf without pretty severe shoulder pain. Pipeline sorted me out. After going 2x / week for 3 months, give or take, I was able to stay out for an hour and a half. They not only fixed me, they taught me how to move my shoulder properly, how to take care of myself and rehab my shoulder going forward. Nine-ish months later, I'm up to 3 hours in the water and feeling stronger out there than I've ever felt. Can not recommend these guys enough. I've had my share of PT over the years for different injuries and the level of knowledge, skill, and, frankly, just how nice and funny the staff is at Pipeline and how fun it is to be there... I've never seen its equal in a PT office. These guys know their stuff and are invested in their patients. My injury is officially healed i suppose, but i still go once a month to check in, report on how it's going, report on if i've had any add'l pain and they diagnose what's up with it and offer advice on what to focus on for the next month. I can not believe I have forgotten to update/add another review! I ended up seeing the therapists at pipeline for I want to say about two and a half or three years (I had three ortho surgeries) I have since "graduated". These guys are AWESOME- every one of them! PT sucks- we all get it, however this team makes it fun and was something I used to actually look foreword too. Note- just because a referral runs out doesn't mean you are done! Keep getting referrals until PT says you are done and you will never regret it. Recovery is hard work but it is SO worth it and the #1 preventative to needing more surgery! Keep up the good work guys! I hope I won't need to have more surgeries but if I do I know where I will always return to for any and all PT needs. I've been attending Pipeline physical therapy for three weeks for my lower back injury/pain. After three weeks and biweekly sessions I can feel an improvement! I like how Dr. Craig-Jones designs a specific care plan around the patient, explains, and educates how to do daily exercises at home to improve stability. Once again, he gives patient's the knowledge and empowers them to take charge to gain their health back. My favorite part of physical therapy is the Warm Pads and TENS unit! I hope to continue my journey to recovery and can get back into doing what I love surfing/snowboarding The facility is clean and the decor is very OCEANSIDE and overall a welcoming atmosphere. There's plenty of parking in front or off to the side of the property. Get location in Downtown Oceanside. Dr. Craig-Jones is attentive to the specific needs of his patients. He works closely with the insurance companies and updates patients about possible co-pays. All staff members are professional, friendly, and approachable. In the fall of 2020 I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's, an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid. The symptoms include muscle weakness and joint pain and I experienced these symptoms in my knees, hips, and back. And I just have to say the physical therapists at Pipeline are AMAZING! They worked with me to offer exercises, stretches and tissue massages to alleviate my pain. We worked on exercises for lifting heavy items around my household, talked about the right kind of shoes for knee and back support. I'm really grateful to this team. Dear Potential Customers, My name is Michael Tully and I sustained a grade three shoulder separation injury in February 2020, in what I thought at the time, was the end of my surfing days. I came to Pipeline P.T. because the original physical therapy place I made my appointments at in Carlsbad, was just awful. That facility immediately had me working with college interns who seemed to be apathetic to my injury and often left me during my appointment to work with other patients. I called Pipeline and they reassured me since I had such a severe injury, I would not be seen by an intern on my first appointments with them. As soon as I walked in the door I felt very appreciated and met with warm regards by the likes of Yuki and Cherry. They not only made the paperwork process easy and "painless" they also added their own personal touch by asking sincere questions about how I'm doing and about my life in general. My first appointment I felt completely paid attention to by Mark, he is an amazingly patient listener, hearing me out in what I thought was babble spewing from my mouth. I don't know about your experience with injuries but I have such a hard time figuring out where it actually hurts most and articulating what I'm actually experiencing. He patiently walked me through what I thought I was experiencing and asked great questions to be able to pinpoint the location that needed the most work, a true professional. He would ask each time I came back in where it hurts the most and would first manually manipulate that area to soften it up and then work on specific exercises to isolate and build up those muscles to negate the pain. Each week he gave me exercises to do from home that were manageable yet pushed enough to make sure that I was building muscle and recovering. At the end when I left, he gave me a great home comprehensive routine that works with my schedule to make sure I stay injury free into the future. I then worked with Chris for a little while, I don't know about this guy though ;) , just kidding Chris is awesome too. He too was great to work with, he really broke things down in an understandable manner so you could begin to understand your own body. I pretty much had a million questions for Chris and each time he always met them with genuine excitement and would see if I could figure it out in my own body. He's very passionate about physical therapy and it shows with his enthusiasm about getting all of his patients better, not only through the exercises, but the science behind those exercises. I should also add that on top of my shoulder injury, I also had years of previous back issues, I was like there is no way they're going to make that better too. After my shoulder began to show signs of full recovery they both started to work with me on my back issues. This was a process, let me tell you, lots of years of unwrapping for sure but they both helped me through it and most importantly educated me about my injury and my body. Mark and Chris and the team over at Pipeline truly understand the injury recovery process but meet it with such passion, empathy yet push when pushing is needed They truly want to get you better but also educate you at the same time so you can begin to properly manage your body into the future. The best part about the team is that they make your time fun and enjoyable while also creating a family-like atmosphere where everyone is sharing good conversation and jokes throughout the open air facility. I believe laughter and community can be the best medicine when dealing with things like an injury and other challenges in life and Pipeline Physical Therapy completely embraces this philosophy too, which separates it from the other physical therapy facilities. This review is long over due but well needed. I have been going to pipeline for over a year now and I wish that I would have started sooner with them. I first started seeing them for my knee. You know having kids those stupid Legos will get you every time and I have tripped and fell a number of times and soccer injuries from a billion years ago are finally getting to me. With the help of mark, Chris, Toni and James I have been able to start doing more, able to go on walks and trying to run. Then at the advice of one of my drs we wanted to try PT for my headache/ migraines. Well since I have been going weekly I have had one migraine that has knocked me down compared to the 10-12 I use to get. They have shown me exercises to do at home and I'm able to do them daily to help prevent the migraines. Then my son decided to be a boy and hurt himself and this was the only place that I would allow to do his PT. Everyone that works there has been able to treat us both at the same time while still giving us the attention that we need. Cherry and Yukie also are amazing at getting the appointment times that work with my CrAZy schedule and very welcoming when we show up. I've been to many physical therapists as a result of back surgery over the last four years - none of these experiences proved either positive or of benefit in relieving my pain. I gave up because none seemed willing to work with me to help me find a path to walk normally again with minimal pain.
