Absolutely the best children's store in the New Orleans area. Their clothing for newborns to toddlers to pre-teen girls cannot be matched. They also sell kids shoes, toys, books and tons of other cute stuff. The staff if phenomenal and always helpful. I wouldn't shop anywhere else for gifts for kids. read more

This is my tween girls favorite place to shop. I love coming to get special occasion attire, baby gifts, birthday girls, stocking stuffers, etc. The employees are so helpful. I will be sad with my girls age out. They have fun clothing that appeals to them that is well curated and age appropriate. We have been Pippen customers for 10 years and cannot recommend it enough. This is basically a place for people to buy really expensive throw away stuff for their toddlers who will never remember it or treat it with care. We walked around for about 15 minutes looking for a cute dress or something, ANYTHING that my friend could bring home to her kid. When we thought we found the pot of gold, it was a $78 backpack.....for a 2 year old kid. I'm not following this rainbow. read more

This place is so pretentious. My girlfriend purchased a baptismal gown here for $300 and they treated her like they were doing her a favor. If you aren't dressed to the nines be prepared to be treated with disregard. They do have a good sale twice a year on the shoes and clothes. read more

This is a sweet little children's boutique in the heart of New Orleans- they carry designer brands and plenty of gift-ready items for baby showers. Contrary to the other reviews, everyone I've talked to here has been very polite and friendly, and they recently hosted a fun TOMS shoes event for the whole family. I walked into this place hoping to buy a cute gift for my 2 year old. I mean I love my kid and all but she doesn't exactly understand being outfitted in pricey clothes which is where this stupid place comes in. I searched around this store for ages looking to find something that not only fit my 2t child but, also for something that wouldn't be astronomically expensive. Boy was I wrong. When I finally found a cute backpack with little elephants on it, I was sold. Then I took one peek at the price tag. 78 bucks! Seriously people?! A toddler backpack for 78 bucks!? Whatever if this sort of thing lights your flame- go for it, but for the rest of us living on planet earth- there's no need to venture here. read more

I love Pippen Lane. Yes, the clothes cost more money, but they are so darn cute. I have several pieces from here and they've all held up nicely (and maintained their softness after many, many washes). I've also had nothing but stellar customer service. It's definitely worth a trip if you're in the market for cute, nicer baby and children's clothing. read more

WONDERFUL!! I must say that I was rather apprehensive about revisiting this boutique after reading the two poor reviews posted. After all, I hadn't been there in seven years and figured that things must have changed. However, after having such a hard time finding the drivers that my son wanted, I decided to give it a shot once again and make my own opinion. Let's just say that after visiting the store, I was appalled by the horrible statements that were made. They clearly do not depict the value of service that's truly offered by this establishments employees. I was dressed in an old jogging suit and had on a pair of two year old tennis shoes, and was still graciously acknowledged as if I was Angelino Jolie. As for pricing, the items are moderately priced for quality merchandise. This is a "BOUTIQUE" not "TJ Maxx"! For those of you that prefer unique quality merchandise for children, this is definitely an excellent place to go. By the way, this comment is coming from someone that's African American. Try it yourself, you won't be disappointed. read more

This boutique on Magazine Street is lovely. The selection of clothes are so pretty. The store was neat and well stocked. My only complaint is that the women who was working seemed a little brash. Not friendly. However when locals walked in she catered to them. I felt she was a little rude and quite possibly prejudice. Thankfully the male employee came out of the stockroom and was more friendly. read more

This place is pretty over the top. The price points are astronomical, so be prepared. Most pieces I picked up were between $56-$90. Some of the stuff is cute, but not $90 worth. The clothing quality does not reflect that cost. Especially when I picked up a toddler top that was printed on a HAYNES t-shirt. I know we weren't shopping at TJMAXX but I'm not going to pay more for less just because some Magazine Street storefront sign says "boutique" either. They do have a selection of higher quality toys that are built to last. Those would be worth the extra bucks if your kid was into wooden toys. Customer service here is good. They do make the effort for sales. We were greeted, asked by multiple employees if we needed help or were looking for something in particular and were pointed to a few good selections. During our visit, we were able to score some uber cute baby shoes for $17 and a plain white/pink onesie from the sale table for $18. I won't be running back here for kids clothing but I won't completely disregard it. I'll just be prepared to bring an outrageous amount of money for a simple outfit. read more

Don't bother with this extremely overpriced shop. Their customer service does not match their cost. I was given a set of Christmas pajamas as a gift, and tried to return them with tags attached and a gift receipt in early March. The saleslady scoffed at me and said, "We don't have them in stock any more. Sorry." I've never heard of a high-end boutique not accepting a valid return. If you want high-quality children's clothes and service to match, go to Zuka Baby or Haase's. read more

I went to check out their strollers, as they are listed as the only distributer of Bumbleride in LA. When I walked in, there were maybe two other customers in the store. No one greeted or acknowledged me. So I searched around, found the stroller section, and started fiddling with the Bumbleride. I compacted it, messed with the handles, and read the entire handbook all for about fifteen minutes, and no one came over to see if I had any questions, or to help me in any way. So I decided to leave, and as I left, I still received no recognition of my existence. I will never attempt to shop there again. If I am going to spend a lot of money on my baby, it will be not only for quality goods, but for at least decent customer service. read more

Unlike the other posts, i found this store to not only be beautiful and clean but an amazing selection of the best lines on boutique clothing. I was greated in a warm and friendly way and was asked if I needed help. I chose to walk around and look and was pleasently surprised to find their own private label in wonderful colors for the baby. Love the store and the staff, the ONLY baby store in NOLA to shop in. read more

Pippen Lane is an amazing children's store. I have traveled all over the world and perfection in childen's clothes is right in New Orleans. I have visited the store several times to buy clothes and shoes for my children and gifts for the children of my friends. The staff bends over backwards to help and to make you feel at home.
