So this used to be a place that I had been to previously but it had been a while since I was around so now Piraye popped up. I'm not even mad though! This is a Mediterranean type restaurant so you can get your hummus and your kebab fix but there are also other items that you are familiar with (like shrimp and grits and lamb chops). I came in randomly and I was okay with my decision. It's in a shopping area that has free parking. You come in and it's more spacious than you can see on the outside. They actually have some outdoor seating as well so you will be able to find a place to sit for sure. Let me tell you the highlight.... the happy hour is solid af! You can see the regular menu and then get to the happy hour and a lot of the appetizers are there (including the Burger) so this is definitely worth it. Calamari - The calamari was all right. It only came in a few rings so it really wasn't a lot. But it tasted decent but I felt like it could have been more. Usually if you get calamari, you get a bunch of calamari fried with the tentacles and the rings and maybe some peppers to boot. This one was very small. But I guess the fact that it's unhappy hour that's probably a reason. Crispy brussel sprouts - brussel sprouts were okay. Not sure if I would rush to get them again but I wouldn't be mad at them. They had apples and them which was a little bit odd, and they had pecans in them, so when you're crunching you're not even really crunching on the brussel sprouts themselves. A lot of times, there's a lot of extra things in here that they didn't need. But without that and just the sauce they probably would have been great. American waygu burger - the burger was a damn good burger. I got it medium and it came juicy af and very flavorful. It comes with cheese and (caramelized) onion on it and is going to have you super happy with you get it. This one doesn't count with fries but they have another one that does (fyi). Happy hour until 630p on Tuesday - Friday And that is definitely worth going to. You can get some cocktails, a burger and fries, and leave happy. My goal is to actually make it back again and try a few other things on the happy hour menu! But this is definitely a spot that I would keep tucked away.

Delicious and reasonably priced add to the neighborhood. Definitely would go again with the family or a group.

This trip was actually our first time visiting without him so we were a little lost about what to do next. LOL. We had gone to a cafe earlier in the day but it was still too early for dinner so we kept searching for something interesting to do. That's when my husband found Distillery of Modern Art. I wasn't really in the mood for drinking during the day so I wasn't sure at first but I'm so glad we went! We had never heard of a combination of a distillery and an art gallery before which immediately caught our attention. It looked like the space is used for a variety of events as well. Since we visited during Mother's Day weekend, there was a flower arrangement workshop happening in one of the rooms when we arrived. The bar area was very spacious with plenty of seating and since it was our first visit, we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the different liquors they produce. My husband sampled their rye whiskey, gin, and Amaro Peach. I'm usually not much of a gin fan but theirs was exceptionally smooth and I actually enjoyed it. Amaro tends to be quite bitter but their Amaro Peach had a really nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. I ordered the Ocean Eyes cocktail which features their Amaro Peach and it was excellent. The bartender also made his own special version of a classic cocktail for my husband (I forgot the name!) and he really enjoyed it. What stood out most was how friendly and passionate the bartender was. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and honestly, he made the experience even more enjoyable for us. We had such a great visit that my husband ended up bringing home bottles of their gin and Amaro Peach. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Atlanta!

The ube drink is excellent, not super sweet but you can taste the ube flavor and the end is a citrus note which is nice. The other 2 drinks we had were ordered off menu after we explained to the bartender some of taste preferences. The Singapore sling was excellent as well as the other one he made. You can tell that they really care about their craft and are wanting to experiment with different flavors! It was nice being able to sit at the bar and chat as well

I opted to park at the Wal-Mart and wasn't as familiar with the trail so I took the street route. Well-light and populated for safe crossing. The venue is very open and was relatively empty since we arrived shortly after it opened. I love the indoor seating concept with plenty of couches, movable chairs, tables near the open-area space and smaller sections for 2-4 people tucked away along the wall. The DJ was already doing his thing and the bartenders remained busy. As someone who wasn't interested in the drinks, I appreciate that there was a self-serve water cooler in the center of the room. The Jenga and jumbo Uno cards were a hit!!!! It was so nice to have these options available. And as others mentioned, the large screen was playing a classic movie - which we could still see from inside. I didn't stay long and this was a Sunday night but the parking lot was much busier when I left. I imagine the outdoor space gets crowded later in the evening as well. The DJ was just okay - not my cup of tea - but folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can definitely see why this place is popular. Although parking is less than desirable, it is not unreasonable. The venue is well-lit and easy to move around. The crowd was diverse, with various ages and backgrounds represented. And depending on the DJ, this would be a great place for meeting with friends, date night or just zoning out to some wonderful music ... especially on a beautiful night. If you're in the mood for something different AND don't mind the trek to Chamblee, check it out.

Drinks were great and the food was even better. My daughter finished her cheeseburger before I was even halfway through my meal. I had the steak frites and OMG. I ate every single bite. My son loved his chicken sandwich and my wife also loved the steak salad. All around it was 100% delicious. Not a morsel of food left on anyone's plate. I'm actually going back tonight cause I haven't stopped thinking about the steak frites the last few weeks. Atrocious experience this Saturday 4/25/26…read more We were actually over at sweet hut around 9pm and decided to check out Sapphire Karaoke since they were close by. At 9:26pm, we sent 2 people from our group of 6 to go by Sapphire to see if they had availability for us. The manager told them "yes, we will have a room in 5 minutes" so the rest of our group showed up excited and ready to karaoke. We waiting patiently 10-15 minutes and the manager came by again with "I'm sorry but someone messed up reservations and we won't have a room until 10pm". It was 9:44 pm at this point. The manager could tell we were about to leave and she comes back and says "oh good news, this group is checking out now. I'll have a room ready in 10 minutes". 2 from our group couldn't wait longer so they left. The rest of us decided to wait and got 2 bottles of Soju. It's $15 a bottle and THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A NON OPTIONAL GRATUITY so keep that in mind if you want to leave a tip, it's additional. Our total for the soju ended up averaging $20 a bottle. I asked the manager at 10pm what's going on and she just cuts me off and keeps walking with a "hold on". 10:15pm rolls around and the manager was no where to be seen. At this point we have been waiting 45 minutes with no updates when the original wait quote was FIVE minutes. We saw 3-4 parties come in and get seated. I'm not sure what kind of business they're trying to run but we sure felt BAMBOOZLED out of $50 for 2 bottles of soju and wasted 45 minutes of our time. They clearly have to figure out their scheduling/reservation system if the staff are making multiple errors. Don't lie to patrons that you have a room available when you don't. This felt like the equivalent of an overbooked/oversold flight and they were hoping they could get more clients to cover no shows- at least be honest and say we were on a waitlist.

You had tables you couldn't sit at (assuming it's for the restaurant aspect) but we can visually see and felt it was so empty. You had sports, OTHER djs, and random things on the TV. The lights were kind of bright. At the booth, it was chill. Our server checked up on us. We had to have a second table because there just was not enough space for everything.
