Went here for a caviar tasting with eventful ATL. The art around this place was beautiful.Part of our event package was a ticket to get a drink at the bar. All the bartenders were really helpful with the menu. My drink made with ube was amazing. I'll definitely be back to this venue to see what else they have to offer.

Yes! It's a beautiful venue. They have beautiful artwork. I think it's more of a bar and event space. They don't serve food but there was a food truck out back that had some amazing macaroni and cheese, baked beans, and brisket nachos! We were there for a Bourbon tasting! The bar was fully stocked and the bartenders were cool!

I LOVE THIS BAR!! I love the concept it's so cute The inside is so pretty and the location is perfect Their drinks are so good and very thoughtfully made My favorite is the three little birds, it's such a fresh and delicious drink, truly one of my favorites, I can never have just one Also the service is always on point too I've been here a few times and I will continue to visit this place it's such a hidden gem!!!! Highly recommend checking it out!! 10/10

For sure check out the tour they do early in the evening when they open- there is one at 5 pm and one at 6 pm and you need to reserve in advance. We learned about the history of the distillery, how the spirits are made (including walking through the back-of-house area) as well as hearing about the many different collaborations DOMA has with other businesses- like they help a lavender farm to make a lavender that actually has the farm's label. Also- they have a rotating Art show- and you can buy the art (the artist gets all the money from the sale)! Such a fun evening and the drinks are delicious!

Swung by one evening for happy hour. I enjoyed the mix of a cocktail lounge and art. When I came, they had a pop up carribean vendor serving food. I also saw they have different events weekly. This spot is nice for a date or just an outing with friends.

I attended the Cookery and Cocktails at DOMA event featuring a summer kebab cooking demonstration and tasting. It was such a wonderful experience. I found out about this event on the Yelp events page. The demonstration was was crafted by Chef Naina Bedwhar of Kesar Kitchen. The facility is beautiful. It's a distillery that produces several liquors and has an art gallery as well. They offer tastings and classes throughout the month. Chef Naina was extremely informative and very pleasant. She demonstrated making a chicken kebab with bazar spice blend, malai tikka kebab and mango and saffron shrikhand. Everything was phenomenal! The flavors were explosive. I learned new cooking techniques and methods as well. We made our own spice blend to take home and were given copies of the recipes. We also indulged in well crafted cocktails specifically catered for this event by the DOMA staff. I had such a great time and look forward to returning!

AMAZING! Cocktails are delicious and very creative, just like the space! The vibe of this unique spot is really cool; welcoming as a neighborhood watering hole as well as a perfect event space. such a cool idea to feature local artwork, which only adds to the aesthetic of the building itself, which is a work of art. Can't say enough good things. Chamblee/Brookhaven and surrounding areas are lucky to have this "HIDDEN" GEM! The distillery has only been open for 9 months. Highly recommend if you're looking for a chill spot to have a crafted cocktail and light bites. NON BAR FOOD!

This is such a low key gem! You have a lot of moving parts, but they are all good moving parts though! You have the distillery... and the art... and the bar for drinks... you can just exist here and be fully immersed in everything it has to offer! The staff was super friendly and amazingly helpful. They had no problem explaining what goes into the drinks and as well as getting an opinion on what you want to specifically so I can tailor to drink towards you. They were very open and a lot of good customer service points with that. The atmospherere was super dope. It look like it didn't actually belong in this city look like it belonged in the heart of Atlanta. It was trendy and super chic. It was very clean and nice to look at inside and out. Yes they did have an outdoor seating area as well. All of the artwork was cool, they had a book fair while I was there as well. I thought that was pretty cool to have an art fair, a distillery with a bar, and a book fair lol at the same time. The cocktails I tried were the black Manhattan and a renewal. I usually gravitate toward an old fashioned but I decide to try something different. So I'm Manhattan was good and it was very potent. It's not something you can go back to back with, something that you have to take your time and sip slow. The renewal was something different I want to shake it up a little bit. It has beats in it so that threw me off lol but it was actually pretty decent. I put some habanero salt around the room just to spice it up, literally! I think that this place is really a potential go-to place that deserves perspect. I would definitely consider going back!

My friend David lives in Chamblee near this business and invited me to join him to try it out. It's hidden in an industrial area behind Curry Honda. Parking is available on the street and in their small private lot. We arrived at 530pm on Saturday and it was very very hot. The patio is covered and attractive but empty during our visit. The inside dining area was half full and the bar area had two empty seats which we grabbed immediately. We loved that they didn't cram an unrealistic number of bar stools into the space and allowed for sufficient elbow room between patrons at the bar. The concept is flights of liquor featuring their own products and craft cocktails using their own liquor and ingredients. Our favorite drinks were "the marg" which had green pepper syrup and "the Chamblee cooler ". Both were inventive, complex and tasty! We also did the flight of R&D Series bourbon. It was impressive and we enjoyed it! Food was limited and primarily snacks such as cheese, crackers and charcuterie. Artwork in the gallery area was cool. It's currently from a comic artist. The staff was friendly and efficient and we had a great time meeting people at the bar. We are excited to go back for another visit!!

DoMA is very cool! The inside is very sleek. Love the art on display (it's for sale!), especially that they feature local artists! They switch the art out. You can rent out a room for private events. You can get cocktails, snacks, and even buy a bottle of their spirits--whiskey, gin, and vodka. Everyone we met who was working there was super friendly! Most of the cocktails are on the expensive side, ranging from $9-$18. I was expecting the drinks to be prettier, but wasn't too impressed. I got The Marg, which was made with vodka. Definitely not a typical margarita, but it was very good. I liked it better than the Chai Latte. My husband got both Old Fashioneds and he liked the Rye better than the Bourbon. Very cool spot! Just hoping the cocktails improve!

I've been twice. The first was when it had just recently opened and few people were inside. It is a unique premise with both set and changing art galleries + a distillery. The second time I went a small book sale event was happening in the changing gallery area. That time the service was terrible! They were clearing struggling with a busier crowd, and our friendly server could not remember to get my table of 4 our drinks for about 2 hours even though we reminded him and asked other servers. Eventually he gave me a drink which wasn't what I ordered because they were out, but I was charged the full price of the speciality cocktail I didn't receive. The menu is well-designed visually and in terms of actual content. Unique cocktail ideas and you can buy a handle to go. If they get their service together, I'm sure it will do well due to the cool concept of the place.

The smash burger is really great. I wish they have other than a Sunday. Otherwise still very good. The drinks are great. Three little birds are my favorite. The service is great and people are always helpful.

As Chamblee residents, we were super excited to finally get the chance to try the Distillery of Modern Art. We decided to sit outside as it was a beautiful night. Our waiter was SLAMMED, to the point where we never saw him in the hour and a half after we got our drink delivered. We felt bad for how busy he was and the bartender also seemed extremely overwhelmed. The drinks were alright, the peach vodka was very good but I was surprised they couldn't customize a drink given I asked for a substitution that was available and listed on their menu. Given the bill came out to $40 for two drinks (and the tip of course), we didn't feel that it was a $40 experience and probably wouldn't return.

After a few visits, I've tried a good variety of the menu: * **Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich:** This is served open-face and uses a mix of Sichuan and Calabrian chili. It is absolutely amazing, but fair warning: it is *hot*. Even if you're used to Sichuan spice, this one may still be tough to deal with, but it's still incredibly flavorful and enjoyable. Just keep in mind that they don't adjust the heat level for this one. * **The Greens:** These are wonderful. They have a rich, savory pork flavor and are easily a must-order for me every single time. * **Shrimp and Grits:** This has a fantastic sauce that strikes the perfect balance--not too heavy, but not watery either. My only minor wish is that they'd add some andouille sausage to it (even if raised the price), but it's still a really well-executed dish. * **Southern Pho:** Really great and super hearty. It's a comforting bowl, though probably best enjoyed during the winter months. * **Drinks:** The cocktails are always creative and well-made, and they keep a really interesting beer list on hand too. ### 2. The Ambience The vibe here is great. The interior feels like a charming, cozy little house you'd find in Savannah. I especially love the bar area, which has these really cool copper chandelier lights that give the space a warm, inviting glow. ### 3. The Service The staff has been consistently friendly and welcoming every single time I've been here. The Summary I honestly feel lucky to live close to this place. It doesn't get much love or mentions from the Atlanta social media crowd and local press (the good news is you won't encounter a lot of annoying people lol).. I'm a fan though.

The second I saw it, I didn't care about the price -- I knew I wanted it, so I planned us a date night. When we arrived, there was a birthday party going on, and I asked the maître d' if they were limiting seating because of the event. He didn't quite understand me, so my fiancée just asked for a table for two, and we were seated quickly. The setup was nice, although I'm personally not a fan of pre-set plates and glasses on tables (you never know how long they've been sitting there). Still, our server was fantastic -- attentive, helpful, and made the night smooth. We came for the famous Piraye Kebab Tray. At first, we were looking at the $165 option (Chef Tray + 1 Meze Board + Shepherd Salad + 4 Orders of Piraye Kebab with rice, all baked inside the dough). When we mentioned the price, our server kindly told us about the smaller 2-order option for $85 -- perfect! And let me tell you, Lord above, when I say I would do some things to eat this food again... words cannot describe how incredible it was. It has been three days since, and I'm still thinking about it. I even posted it on my stories, and over 10 people have messaged me asking about it. Chef Tray: Overflowing with juicy, flavorful meat, perfectly seasoned rice with chickpeas (I swear it was made with veal stock), and that roasted pepper and cheese-stuffed dough on top -- divine. Meze Board: The hummus was creamy and rich, paired perfectly with fresh pita. Shepherd Salad: Fresh, crisp, and balanced. My only small regret was that our server misunderstood when we asked for the dough crust to-go -- I realized the next day it wasn't packed up. Honestly though, I couldn't even be upset, because the food was just that good. For drinks and dessert: Turkish Coffee - small but strong, beautifully presented with a piece of Turkish delight on the side that was everything I had ever imagined a Turkish sweet to be: chewy, fragrant, and delicately sweet. Künefe - a dream come true! A warm, crunchy pastry with gooey melted cheese inside, topped with sweet syrup and pistachios. It was rich, nutty, and sweet without being overwhelming -- the perfect ending. Turkish Martini - decent, but not nearly as memorable as the food. All together, including tip, it was about $140. For the amount and quality of food, the attentive service, and the one-of-a-kind experience, it was absolutely worth every single cent. Piraye Kitchen isn't just dinner -- it's an experience. This is a must-try-before-you-die type of place. Oh, and happy birthday, Amy!

Atrocious experience this Saturday 4/25/26…read more We were actually over at sweet hut around 9pm and decided to check out Sapphire Karaoke since they were close by. At 9:26pm, we sent 2 people from our group of 6 to go by Sapphire to see if they had availability for us. The manager told them "yes, we will have a room in 5 minutes" so the rest of our group showed up excited and ready to karaoke. We waiting patiently 10-15 minutes and the manager came by again with "I'm sorry but someone messed up reservations and we won't have a room until 10pm". It was 9:44 pm at this point. The manager could tell we were about to leave and she comes back and says "oh good news, this group is checking out now. I'll have a room ready in 10 minutes". 2 from our group couldn't wait longer so they left. The rest of us decided to wait and got 2 bottles of Soju. It's $15 a bottle and THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A NON OPTIONAL GRATUITY so keep that in mind if you want to leave a tip, it's additional. Our total for the soju ended up averaging $20 a bottle. I asked the manager at 10pm what's going on and she just cuts me off and keeps walking with a "hold on". 10:15pm rolls around and the manager was no where to be seen. At this point we have been waiting 45 minutes with no updates when the original wait quote was FIVE minutes. We saw 3-4 parties come in and get seated. I'm not sure what kind of business they're trying to run but we sure felt BAMBOOZLED out of $50 for 2 bottles of soju and wasted 45 minutes of our time. They clearly have to figure out their scheduling/reservation system if the staff are making multiple errors. Don't lie to patrons that you have a room available when you don't. This felt like the equivalent of an overbooked/oversold flight and they were hoping they could get more clients to cover no shows- at least be honest and say we were on a waitlist.
