If you're thinking of getting your hair done and in the Greenwich area, LOOK NO FURTHER! Although difficult to spot from the street as this salon is on the second level of the building, it is well worth the search!! The two owners are incredibly talented in their craft and came from Italy. You can sense the passion as they put such great care and thought into each cut, color, etc... It was worth every penny, I was treated like royalty from the second I arrived in the beautiful, modern salon. They offered a perfectly made cappuccino after my wash which I thought was a great touch being Italian myself! They took my long, flat, lifeless hair into a true masterpiece. I've had plenty of cuts in plenty of places and I've never been so thoroughly satisfied. I cannot recommend this salon enough. The owners are true artists and perfectionists. They spent so much time finding the perfect color and highlights and gave me a hairstyle when all I requested was a trim. The results far exceeded my expectations. I would give 20 stars if I could! I was going to my best friend for 5 years to cut/color/style my hair. I needed to find somewhere else to go, and I found Pirri Hair Studio online. We all know how stressful finding a new salon could be, so of course I was on edge arriving to my appointment. Immediately after I met Luigi, that uneasy feeling vanished and I felt completely comfortable. From there the experience just kept getting better and better. He was so polite, personable, professional, and truly truly cared about my hair. When I explained to him what I wanted he seemed to quickly understand and the haircut he gave me was beyond my expectations. I felt so at ease with him and fully trusted him! I will definitely be returning to get my hair colored/cut by him. I would recommend this place to ANYONE and EVERYONE! Avoid this salon. The owner told me to "stop being negative" when I objected to potentially being charged $50 for a glaze in case my highlights didn't come out as intended...Although I understand upcharges, don't tell a client to stop being negative when I am making decisions regarding my wallet AND my appearance. I also felt like what I wanted for my haircut wasn't important- it was more about the stylist's "vision". Not a great experience at all. Will not go back. Very uncomfortable. read more

This place is really very good. They used to be known as Toni & Guy, and the stylists have advanced training from Toni & Guy academy, so they really all know what they are doing from a technical perspective. The space is nice too, and the prices are pretty fair. read more

This place is overrated. Spent so much money for a place that doesn't know how to color hair. The lady that did my hair looks nervous when she was doing my hair. And she kept saying it's going to look good and I was hoping it would, I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. This place charges you for everything from the washing your hair after a color to blow drying which is ridiculous. I've never had any place color my hair and not wash it completely with shampoo after, she just rinsed my hair. When she was blow drying my hair I knew I wouldn't like what she did to my hair but she kept saying "ohhh i'm going to curl a few pieces so you can see it looks good" but the more she did that the more I hated my hair. It wasn't what I wanted. She did what she thought would look nice, I don't t know what hair school she went to but she obviously don't know what a good looking hair looks like. She kept taking pictures trying to convince me that it looks good but I just wanted to get out of there and never again look at their place ever. i hope that people who reads this would take my advice. It was a waste of my money, and I don't like leaving nasty comments but some places deserve it. Don't waste your money on this place, it may look like it's a good salon since it's right there in Greenwich but it's not. They try to kill you with kindness so you won't leave comments like these. I hate this place. If I would've known I would've just went somewhere closer and cheaper then I wouldn't feel bad about spending money. If I could rate this place a negative I would. This hair studio is just AMAZING!!!! The hair stylist are Italian and cut like a true gifted Italian hair designers! I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone except these guys!! I am truly blessed to find such a gem, in Greenwich, CT! I now don't want to visit any hair salon except theirs! They make you feel safe, beautiful and at home. Although I only gave Pirri one star, I've never actually been to the salon. I made an appointment at Pirri for a bridal updo trial several months before my wedding. The afternoon before my trial (six weeks before the wedding), they called to tell me that they are not available on the date of my wedding. I can't imagine why they couldn't tell me this when I booked the appointment. I live in Boston and traveled to NY for this hair trial. Thanks a lot, Pirri. I am now scrambling to find another salon. They lost more than just my business. My family members, who visit the salon regularly, won't go there again. read more

Luigi has been taking care of my hair for almost 3 years now, and I am sorry it took me so long to write a review about his amazing job every time I need. I usually have my hair cut every 3 months or so and take care of the beautiful highlights he did a while ago, just as I requested, but even better than I thought it could be, as he knows what is possible or not for each type of hair... I have got so many compliments on it! He and his brother Piero are truly passionate about what they do, that's certainly why they are so talented!!
