Despite initially…read moreraising my concerns and requesting them to revisit the issue, it took an excessive amount of time and multiple phone calls from me to prompt their response. Eventually, Larry from Cannon Patio and Driveway visited, but his solution was inadequate. He simply suggested sealing the areas where gravel was coming up, without addressing the sinking and discoloration of the driveway caused by regular vehicle use. They were initially hired to tear out my old driveway, regrade, level, and asphalt it. Their work was rushed and subpar. The regrading and leveling have failed, resulting in puddles forming on the driveway. Asphalt is already starting to loosen and come apart, which is unacceptable considering the amount of money I paid for their services. They provided a quote for the project, but when it came time to settle the bill, they charged a higher price. They claimed it was due to miscalculations regarding the amount of gravel needed. This pricing scheme is deceptive, and I regret not conducting thorough research on contractors before hiring them. Be careful and DYOR. Don't make the same mistake I made.

When they removed some sod on the side of the driveway, Larry asked if they could put it in my back yard. Larry also said his crew would compact it down and make it level. I told him he could do that. Big mistake on my end, not only did they do a horrible job of leveling, they also left pieces of asphalt in the sod, which ended up in my backyard as well. At that time I was also having my entire backyard redone. The paver company that was finishing there work saw the sod Larry's guys threw in the back and were pretty upset, since they had already leveled the entire backyard prior to this. As for the driveway, everything was going good until the roller would not start. Instead, Larry's crew used there asphalt compactor. It worked okay, but not the same result as a roller. Another issue was the Belgium block border joints. The crew tried to make it a little fancier with the cemented joints that protrude an inch over the top and sides. It looked nice at first, but 2-3 months later 50% of the protruding part cracked off. Overall rating (1-10) Crew: 8 Larry: 6 Driveway: 7 Backyard sod placement: -1

From our first telephone call requesting an estimate all the way to our final payment we enjoyed excellent service and great communication from all the personnel at this organization. All of our telephone calls with questions about the job were answered quickly and to our satisfaction. As respects the construction of our new chimney the job was absolutely first rate. The masons were exceptional and the entire job was overseen by the president of the company. My wife and I feel the work was exceptional; we are very pleased with the workmanship as well as the clean-up after the job was completed. We cannot say enough good things about Levato and Sons and would heartily recommend them to anyone needing their types of services.
