Location, location- on a lovely, but traffic noisy, block of tourist apartments that locals own for people like us. The street looks upscale, lots of people with luggage walking by.
The cafe serves cappuccino or the hard stuff, along with pizza & sandwiches. As Italian as you get. They don't rush you, the waiter speaks serviceable English, & doesn't throw shade at your feeble attempt to communicate in Italian.
Una cappuccino per favore will get you a long way. Then make sure to say grazi when you are served. You can ask for il conto per favore, but you probably have to pay inside.
Enjoy the people watching. read more
