When I took it back to them, they agreed that the seal was broken but flatly denied it was something to do with them. Then I took it to another Garage who confirmed that the Seal was Broken and that could happen during the Clutch replacement, as they need to access the Seal and take the whole thing out for doing that. So, while putting it back (reassembly), it got damaged. They suggested me to take it back to the same garage (A4 Tyres - they didn't know which garage did it though) to repair it for Free. But A4 would neither accept they did it, nor do anything about it. It was earlier a good Garage when Syed used to manage it, but since Fayaz took it over, all these dishonesty started.

I had two tyres replaced on my vehicle by these inexperienced people; and as soon as I drove off the warning light was coming on, so I went back and they said it's because the tyres have just been changed this is normal; and to drive the vehicle around and it will go off itself, which it didn't! I then called them and they completely fobbed me off saying it's nothing to do with them and refused to take responsibility, so I took it to another tyre place and they advised that in the process of these people changing the tyres, they broke one tyre pressure sensor (TPMS) on one wheel and completely removed the sensor on the other wheel, hence the warning light was coming on! It's now cost me a further £200 to purchase two new sensors and have these programmed and fitted! Really don't understand what these people get from cheating customers by doing what they did to my vehicle and more than likely many others, but I guess this was my fault by trusting them and I have learned my lesson for next time. Please don't believe the other reviews either, they all seem fake and like they have made been up by the businesses associates!

He found that the nuts holding the rear axle were loose. Ian got the correct tools and fixed the problem within minutes. I brought it in this morning, and within 60 SECONDS had identified the problem (caused by a dodgy fix of my clutch during a previous service from a DIFFERENT garage.) He had the issue fixed in under 5 minutes and then told me I could just 'buy him a drink sometime!!!!!!!' as it was an easy fix. Personally I will be ONLY using Goodmans from now on and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone, they are brilliant. Fixed a nasty rattle coming from near the exhaust of my 22 yo Volvo V40, all sorted in less than an hour. It was the heat shield that had come a bit loose above the exhaust. I also wanted to alert other customers to the possibility that Lynette and Geoff may be moving due to the site being sold to developers. Lynette - When (or if?) it happens PLEASE stay in touch and let me know the address at your new base. If it´s local you can probably keep the same phone number. I plan to keep using your garage wherever you move to. The truth is that they don't try to convince me to fix it at their place which was the only positive about it. I have no reason for damaging their reputation but I feel that I should protect future customers from their lack of knowledge. They said to repair it would cost more £1600 thus they said dump it. They charged me £40 for the diagnostics ha ha ha! I took it just before I dump to the garage by hornsey station, I said it has been diagnosed as per TT1 notes, but before we dump it to the scrap yard please give it a last check. The diagnostics were...that one of the leads of my battery had been disconnected thus leading to the fan not being powered and the engine misfiring and getting overheated!!! Furthermore, I was asked by the hornsey garage man, why all these screws and etc are just placed here and not where they should be. I could only assume that TT1 unscrewd parts to check the engine and were too busy with other things than place them back. Totally disrespectful and incapable or at least that individual that check my car. If I were you I would avoid them, they r dangerous!

They will always try and give you the best price when you call and the staff are helpful and take their time to explain everything that needs doing.
