And I am very glad I decided to drive to Mex instead of eating in the culinary challenged Imperial Valley restaurant scene. We had the chef's bring out their choice in our courses as long as it was a Vegetarian option. So the first dish out was the best freaking Nachos I have ever ate with Cherry Tomatoes, Cilantro, Red Onions and all kinds of their delicious garnishes including Jalapeños. Our second dish out was a Mushroom Dish prepared with Cheese, Zucchini, Squash and a bunch of other goodies it was my least favorite but still a flavorful dish for the curious palate. Our third meal included two different Vegetarian Enchiladas Dish's one of which had an apple tasting sweet and spicy sauce, it was a delicious and interesting twist on Enchiladas, that dish was also garnished with local Pomegranate that is in season. Once I walked in was greeted by very friendly young girls. I ask them for a to go order and handed to me a menu (next time I'll upload the menu) I order a Beef Chiabatta sandwich with fries and replaced the soup that comes with it to a salad. Inside of the restaurant was clean and nicely arranged. Pleasant ambiance with no attention grabbing decoration The waiting time was short; less than 15 minutes; and they brought to me the order at the table that I was waiting. Once arrived at home I open the order. It was neatly packaged. The salad was fresh and nicely prepared. The chiabatta was good but it can have a bit more improvement by toasting the bread a bit more. The amount of the meat in the chiabatta was plenty and not shy at all. Taste was pretty good considering that the bread was not fully toasty in the inside. Over all it was a nice tasty meal and ideal for a quick savory bite. I'll definitely go back to taste their plate.
