However, the day of service the TV in the visitation room went out. I had worked all week going through pictures for a DVD for the viewing. The attendant told me they would work on getting it fixed. So after about 10 minutes of no video or music and a lot of people there. I looked for him and he was standing outside the room, I was upset first of all because I just lost my mother and told him we needed the TV to work, that people came to see memories of her, his response was Well, that's not the only reason they came, in a very condescending rude tone. I was shocked at his response as was all that heard it. 3 people told me that it was the most unprofessional thing they've ever seen. They eventually moved us all into another room. Everything had to be moved which was quite disruptive and upsetting. I understand things go wrong, but his attitude and comments were unacceptable. When I returned later on to pick up her death certificates I wanted to lodge my complaint and he was the only one there to talk to me. After I said how unprofessional and rude I thought it was, he said Well, you got snarky with me. I was shocked at his response. I was distraught and grieving the loss of my mother. Surely in this profession he should know how to be compassionate.

She sat on the floor with my daughter and sister and I, with Noodle in the middle. Dr. Dawnetta explained abouth the heart tumor and why we didn't see the symptoms. She explained the process of "putting Noodle to sleep". Noodle really enjoyed the distraction of the cat food that the Dr brought while giving her the first medication. She sat vigil with us as Noodle took her last breath. Then (and Noodle would have greatly approved if she were still alive) she was wrapped in fuzzy blankets, put on a stretcher and taken to a crematorium. Noodle's ashes will be sprinkled in a communal place next to a pond. This situation was extremely painful, but the great kindness and guidance of Dr. Dawnetta helped so much.

It had been several months since I was here last and I couldn't remember what the protocol was for visits. Once I got inside, the man at the desk told me I could look around and then fill out a form about the one(s) I was interested in. When you first walk in, the cat wing is on left near the front desk; there's two hallways with dogs on the left, and the puppies and critters are on the right. I heard straight to the puppies, took one peek at him, and immediately went to the front to fill out the paperwork. After what seemed like a while, I was granted my visit. He took to me right away and I knew I was going to take him home. After the woman came here in to finalize the paperwork, she told me to go to the front to finalize his pet insurance. Things got a little chaotic because as I was in the middle of finishing his insurance, I was called by the other side to finalize his paperwork. We got everything straightened out, but it'd be nice if a better system were in place. Regardless, I finally got the puppy I wanted and was pleased with the service.

He'd been misdiagnosed with allergies and she knew, us coming from the southwest, to test for valley fever. He was positive. She started him on a variety of treatments and medications. I would've lost him had she not discovered this illness. Also, my Corbin suffers from extreme separation anxiety. She mailed him two anti-anxiety medications and they both have helped him a lot. I cannot stress how instrumental she has been providing for my Corbin all these years. You will not regret taking your babies to her. Her staff is kind and they love animals. I'd give ten out of ten if it was an option.
