They do offer some online scheduling and also by phone. It is a big office and quite busy. There are several different check in windows when you arrive. I do feel possibly a better screening process when calling to schedule. They scheduled me to see a PA (my regular doctor was on leave) and even the PA questioned why I was seeing him as there wasn't really anything he could do. I wound up having to schedule to see another doctor a few weeks later. The office seems to operate fairly efficiently. They usually send you for X-rays before seeing the actual doctor so that the doctor has already seen them before coming in to see you. They also have an orthotist in office to fit you with any braces or boots etc that are needed. My normal specialist here is Dr. Hasselman. He is great. Very thorough. Listens to concerns. Willing to think out of the box. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a foot/ankle specialist.

Dr. Ridenour really listened, worked to get a thorough understanding of my condition, and didn't rush to say surgery before trying conservative methods. The surgery that Dr. Ridenour performed (which was different than what the other two doctors were recommending) was successful - every step of the process was clearly explained to me, and Dr. Ridenour didn't mind "all the questions." The IV was not properly inserted into my right arm. Consequently, I was not only awake for entire procedure,but was in excruciating pain in right arm. The "twilight" sleep drug did not go into my vein, but directly into my arm tissue. Throughout the procedure I repeatedly expressed that I was in extreme pain, but Dr. Manning did not pause procedure to correct the IV. One of the top 2 worst surgery experiences I've ever had, and I've had both hips and knees replaced. I am done with South Hills Orthopaedic Surgery. My lack of care was egregious.

This doctor only addressed 50% of the two issues - elbow and wouldn't address my shoulder at all. He couldn't have cared less and even smirked about it when I asked about my shoulder. $190 for the visit and 4-5 min spent w/him - max! He's a part of the problem with the medical field today and I thought it was always insurance companies to blame with 5 min a patient visit but when I asked about my shoulder, again, he just smirked at me. I'm sure he wanted me to setup another appointment despite the fact, again, he could have addressed my shoulder in the additional 2-5 minutes but the single visit $190 plus x-ray cost wasn't enough for him. It's really a breach of his medical oath to not even do a quick assessment of my shoulder. And the office won't tell you they'll only address one issue at a time until after you've checked in. If there was zero stars to rate him - that'd be it! My guess is when he started out as a doctor, freshly had taken his oath he was probably good, but he simply doesn't truly CARE about his patients anymore.

I am an athlete and he knows the only thing I really want to do is get back on the tennis court and play. He tailors my treatment and options to the goals I want. They use a combination of exercises, stretching and electrical stimulation. I believe I attended 3 times a week for about 8 to 10 weeks each time. They also gave me exercises and stretches to do at home which I still do. Both times, the issues were completely resolved. I am currently attending for a fall that occurred in October 2022. I injured my right leg. I broke the cuboid bone in my foot and am still experiencing pain. I'm also been experiencing pain in my right knee and hip. I've been attending for about the last month but because of commitments, not able to attend as regularly as I'd like, but It is feeling better already.
