I'm glad I provided them with such great amusement, but it was humiliating to me. It's possible that they didn't realize how loud they were being and didn't know I could hear them. However, good customer service means that you treat people with respect and understanding. They had no idea what reasons I had for bringing my car to them in that state. I didn't get any offers for help (e.g., "We could fix that for you if you want"), just a lot of head-shaking and the reminder that I have 60 days to get it reinspected without a fee. NO THANKS. Not only will I not be bringing my car back for reinspection, but I will never bring any of my cars here again. Their service went far beyond rude and unprofessional. They were downright mean.

Even though it wasn't technically under warranty, they were able to get Toyota to Goodwill the work, and get everything covered. Gary especially in the service department did a great job with getting the ball rolling on this. All this despite the fact that I purchased my vehicle at a competitor. Because the Service Department at this dealership was completely honest and straightforward with me, I will be continuing to go here to get all my extended warranty service done on this vehicle for the remainder of the time I own this. Furthermore, I will more than likely be purchasing my next new vehicle from here. Anyone can sell a car.
