Dr A is unreachable even after exhaustively chasing her. No place to leave a verbal or written message. No calls back. For days my husband calls and calls and no answer. June 4 my leg went numb and I fell Since that date my pain is unbearable. I am seeing other specialist. A Dr Kemp (ortho) took an X-ray of my lower spine The 8 spine surgeries of my distant past (25-30 yrs ago) have collapsed. Getting a MRI this week. Bone sitting on bone. Nerves being pinched between bones. Been to ER 3 times since that date also a 6 day stay. Surgery is the likely cure. I may have had a small stroke (appt being scheduled for Neurology) also cannot get dr A to see me or call me. I am faced with withdrawal again this week. I cry and twist about unable to sleep or eat. Have lost 22 lbs. cannot walk. Had to hire a home health aide to get me to bedside commode and move me about. At my age (74) all surgery is risky. Do your job doctor. Communicate with patients. When in hospital dilaudid, morphine and fentanyl are all used with me without long lasting relief. There are new problems the doctor must be made aware of. Why won't she return call or leave a voice mail available? Frustrated. Angry frightened. .

I've been coming here three days a week for about 6 weeks now for two completely different injuries and am recovering better than I could have expected. The best thing about this place is that instead of a sterile waiting room and awkward patients you see but never speak too... this place is very open and friendly. After just a few weeks everyone around me was talkative, interested in your recovery, and willing to share great stories of either weekend warrior tragedy, stair cases that had of been possessed, car accidents that are always someone else's fault, or even the bar top that attacked the drunk stripper's kneecap.
