I had my first appointment today! It was a consultation, and this is the first time I've ever been…read moreto a chiropractor where they took x-rays. It seems so obvious now that it would be part of the plan of care yet, I've never had it done. Also during my appointment, I received electrotherapy and had a mild adjustment and then laid on a rolling table! Much more than I thought I was going to get at a consultation appointment. I have my follow up appointment tomorrow to discuss the findings of the x-ray and determine the treatment plan. This is never been the case at any other chiropractor I've been to. Other places do a visual exam and then an adjustment and tell you to come back for another apt..no real plan which was the exact opposite of what I experienced here! Top-notch service. Friendly. My surgical procedure took longer than expected, but he did a terrific job with my neck. I did not experience any nreve pain post procedure, and the feeling in my hands along with all the neck pain was resolved. No complications at all after the surgery. Dr. Gocke greeted me the next morning with profuse apologies for the surgery taking so long. Wow. How nice was that? He explained all of the procedure to me, which I was absolutely fine with. So I went, I think, three times (or was it four?). I'm NOT particularly a fan of chiropractic care (and neither is the friend who referred me for that matter), but I took his word for it. Dr. Lassiter is a great listener. I definitely believe he knows his stuff, and I definitely believe he stays abreast of the most current chiropractic advancements. I'd never heard of Graston technique, for example, and that was one of the treatments I got, which wasn't exactly pleasant, but I do believe it helped. While I wasn't healed in my 3-4 visits, the treatment when I was getting it did alleviate my symptoms. Dr. Lassiter is super cool, as is his assistant. I'd recommend they close the up the ceilings of the rooms, though so that the doctor-patient discussions remain private. It's a small office and you can hear everything going on.

They are the most wonderful, caring practitioners I have seen in a long time! They take their time to listen to you and address whatever is troubling you that day.
