    Mesa's Haunted Museum

As far as all the ghost tours and events you can attend (there are a few) this by far is the best…read moreone. Try not to annoy them and go with the flow read the room its easy but there good people. The admission is $10 dollars and if you are just going in for the museum and history aspect prepared to be underwhelmed being real honest here. However, if you are into the paranormal this is a perfect spot, I've gone into this museum at 1400hrs for instance and didnt get out till 1530hrs. Literally there are no time limits, I believe you can still take pictures you can even conduct your own ghost hunt as long as you are not being obnoxious about it or replay your recordings inside the museum, (review them later). Events that they run are phenomenal and out of all the events and tours I've done the only two that beat it is the bisbee ghost tour for value and Jerome ghost tour/investigation for the experience. The paranormal experience/investigation nights is about 2.5 hours good amount of time and they pretty much do three different methods on communicating with ghosts, if you are lucky they may try a new experiment which is awesome. The events are mainly held at the museum and sometimes other venues (only downside). The people who go to these events vary which is always interesting and if you start going to it regularly then you'll see the same people which is nice. Now my opinion it will set people off but they seem to accept a paranormal event too easily or too quick to judge that its authentic. (not a bad thing but something to keep in mind, do not call them out on it) My second favorite seance event that they have which fills up quick its interesting and what i like about it is no hand holding dont want someones germs you know lol. This event to me is a little short for what it is. What I like about this is everyone gets a reading and its interesting. its 1.5 hours same as EVP frequencies, Estes method and haunted objects again I feel they should be a bit longer but thats just my opinion. 3rd and 4th favorite would be the haunted objects and evp frequencies. Very interesting great activity. I cannot say too much about the crafting classes I personally do not care for them so I cannot judge them. The gift shop is expensive however, they have some neat things there. I always get there rocks whenever I visit. I hope they get bigger and have a bigger collection which they have gotten more since I've been going to this museum I just feel it just needs to be bigger and it should have more history I feel that they should attempt to get more venues especially during the time of halloween, they have one other regular location they have the paranormal experience/investigation in and thats at Jareds Coffee shop which in my opinion has more and darker energy thats just me though and one that they do sporadically is the Nile which sells out quick. I think if they had more venues it would be alot more interesting. As far as classes, they should have ghost hunting 101 in the daytime, Also a paranormal/investigation event in the day time I think people would attend it, especially people who work the overnight, you could shut the museum down for 2.5 hours for this event and require a higher minimum amount of people to recover for lost time.

Oh. My. Gosh. Doing things at Mesa's Haunted Museum is the most fun I've had in a while…read more Located in an historic storefront on Main Street in downtown Mesa, the museum has a small exhibit room, plus other spaces where Michelle and Heather of East Valley Paranormal Investigations host paranormal investigations and psychic/tarot card readings. (They also run the museum.) At the paranormal investigations, which take place after the museum closes, participants get to use EMF detectors, spirit boxes and other devices to interact with the spirit world. It's really fun and some wild things have happened. They also run ghost tours of downtown Mesa, which involves the participants riding around on skeleton Rydables and stopping at places to investigate with ghost-hunting equipment or to learn about Mesa's haunted history. It is so much fun and I actually learned a lot. I had a reading with Michelle, who gave me really meaningful and accurate answers to the questions I had. Lastly, I've participated in a seance there. (Note: While the museum is the location for the seances, they're run by Sarah of Flitter Mouse.) The seance was awesome--we learned about Victorian spiritualism and had some really amazing things happen. The museum and its activities are just a fantastic place for anyone interested in the spooky side of life. You don't need to wait till Halloween to take advantage of all it has to offer.

I received a SpaFinder gift card, and found Sonoran Serenity Spa as a place that accepts the card…read more Be wary of purchasing this card for folks. It seems like it has many caveats from places that accept it. You can only use it for full-peice services, and you can't book a package of services or seasonal specials. The shop was comfortable and very hippie inside. A bit too many chotchkies for sale inside, but retail is necessary , I realize. The music was a little too crazy and loud for me. Everyone was very nice, and though you can purchase a membership, I loved that it was very low pressure. It actually seems like a good deal that your services can be rolled forward, and can be combined for a larger service. I'm just not a subscription person. I booked an hour massage and a facial. The facial was very thorough and relaxing. The massage was also great, but ended really quickly. When I got dressed and walked to the desk, the gal apologized, as she didn't realize that I had booked an hour. She said I could go back in and get another 30 minutes, but I was already put back together. No thanks. As I checked out, I was also given a cute little facial gift bag, with a nice smelling cleanser, toner and moisturizer. Nice touch. I had a decent service. I'm on the fence about this place. Give it a try though. Better than any local chain.
