This is the best pizza in Manchester (Alley Cat is 2nd)! It has that heavenly, light , crunchy crust that I love. I got a sausage pizza and it is so good! The cheese and sauce are balanced perfectly, and the price is very generous. I need to exercise restraint before I eat the whole pie! I was surprised at how welcoming the staff were. Located in the Maple Valley Plaza, Pizza Express serves specialty pizzas, pasta, salads, subs, burgers, wings, appetizers, fried seafood (haddock, scallop, & shrimp), gyros, kabobs, bottled Coke & Pepsi products from the cooler, and beer (Bud & Bud Light). It's an order at the counter place with plenty of booth seating in the dining area. I stopped here twice for lunch takeout. There's no pizza by the slice here, BOOOO!!!! But they do offer a 6-inch Personal Pizza (ready in 10 minutes) for $2.99. Several other customers ordered the Large Steak Bomb Sub ($5.75), which looked pretty good! VISIT A: I ordered a Personal Pizza with Sausage (sliced) with a thin and crispy crust, way better than the frozen mini pizza offered at the Dunkin's down the street for the same price! VISIT B: Ordered the Baked Cheese Lasagna ($5.95) with Chicken Cutlet (add $1.00) and cheese topping (add $0.75) served with garlic bread. The Baked Lasagna dinner was very good and not too heavy. It was a good portion baked in an 8"x5"x1.5" foil container, which had lots of ricotta cheese, soft rigid lasagna noodles, sweet chunky pasta sauce, breaded chicken pieces, and topped with lots of melted mozzarella. After calling in to say I was delivered the wrong food, the MANAGER starts raising his voice to me about that's how they make their subs. I've ordered it at least a dozen times, I literally just hit 're-order' on my app and it has never come this way. He told me next time maybe I should order something different then hung up on me. So I drove there, showed him the sub and he then blamed it on them being busy. But originally he said that's how they made their subs. There is absolutely no reason to treat people the way I was treated today, especially when I was calling in with complete understanding that mistakes are made - I wasn't mad or anything I just wanted edible food. I've been on a mission to find the best steak salad I can get delivered to my office, rating them on a scale of 1-5, and I've gotten alot of 2s and 3s lately, but I finally found a 5. The steak, which was very plentiful, was cooked perfect and was seasoned well, it was so tender and yummy. The vegetables are fresh as can be, they have lo Cal dressing which is important to me. I had a couple special requests in my order and they followed them to a T. I love that you can order online, and my order arrived very promptly, even a little early, and there was no delivery fee (just a $10 minimum). The only thing I'd change is make the steak salad $10 so I don't have to add a bag of chips to my order to make the minimum, because they weren't included in my order anyway, which is no big deal, I'm actually better off without them. I just literally threw away $30 for lunch. I am so disgusted with the food that was just purchased on April 2, 2020 (COVID-19 Crisis). We ordered a burger club sandwich which was over cooked and everything was soggy. The buffalo chicken tenders were under cooked and the Tuna club sandwich wasn't even toasted and it was soggy and wet. I called to complain and the women who cooked the burger said she was sorry but that does not justify how disgusting the food was and my cash spent on crap. My family is a regular customer of this location, the delivery is always quick and food is good. Last night I ordered a veal sub, on the wrapper was written small baby cow SOS. Really! is this the opinion of the management at Pizza Express. When we called to express out disappointment, the "manager" laughed it off and told us it was a new girl. He asked the person over the phone to read back the order just to make sure everything was written down right. "Big Surprise"!!! They screwed up again!!!!!!!!! They lost not only us but our entire family as customers. You all that praise this establishment need to know that the owner is passing his haddock as fresh when in truth it is frozen. His fries are the cheapest as possible. He gets his fries at Sam's Club. His pizza is greasy because he uses a high fat cheese. His staff are very rude and incompetent. I am not lying to you all. I speak the truth because when we had deliveries come to our home. The food that was ordered was placed in boxes that he purchased. The owner and his staff when someone like myself goes on to a site like this or www.pissedconsumer.com and gives a negative review will use different usernames and write reviews to up their ratings. If you decide to still eat at this establishment, I offer this advice: Ask if their fries are regular or starch coated. Is the fish fresh or frozen. How fresh is your produce. When in doubt ask the owner or staff to see the boxes that your food comes in. Also, check the expiration date of all soda, water, etc.. The staff does not know how to rotate new and old. Last time that I ever went in to place an order, I saw a cockroach run right past. I talked to the owner and was told not to worry about it because there were traps!!! An ex-employee even told my family and I that they found a mouse in the walk-in refrigerator and he never changes his cooking oil. This establishment is way over-priced. Tables are never cleaned. I can't say enough good things! The service is awesome! They listen and no matter what special request you have, they make it happen. Delivery is fast and friendly. WOW, strip mall Greek pizza does not scream yummy to me but this place is GOOD! It looks so generic BUT the food is real. We had pizza and a Gyro. Not a gyro pizza like Torino, Italy. Pizza: great crust, fresh cheese and fresh quality veggie toppings and sauce with a hint of sweetness. Gyro, great veggies, INSANE pita, flavorful (but not salty) , only not great thing, gyro sauce was a bit bland, I could have used some solid cucumber flavor but still good. But then I found hair AGAIN in my food and we called and the shift leader in the background was telling the girl on the phone we were "bullshitting" them and asking "what color hair?" And "how long?" I received delivery for my grilled chicken salad, house dressing. As I am sitting on my couch, I cannot find my salad dressing. As you know, you cannot eat a salad dry...gross. The girl on the phone was clueless on what to do and set on the fact I had my dressing.....but I didn't.. She said they were busy and no one can deliver it. Seriously the best pizza in Manchester, and probably southern NH. The crust is fluffy and buttery and the sauce is rich with fresh cheese. And they always deliver in 20 minuetes or less. I normally get my pizza about 15 minutes after ordering, but live right around the corner. There is also plenty of seating inside, and although they don't really do "wait staff" they will bring your food to the table for you. Ordered a cheeseburger sub and fries! Cheeseburger sub was great for a small pizza shop and great size for a small. You can tell that they use real beef and took time to cook it right. My boyfriend and I have been loyal customers for years now. Yes ocasionally we have had to return items that were incorrect. Most of the time it was corrected promptly. Others it was to much of a hassle. I ordered a Greek pizza and usually it's done beautifully but this time, NOT. I ordered it without tomatos. I got tomatos. Usually it has a fair amount of Feta, black olives. They didn't put black olives on it and the very small amount of Feta was buried under lots of cheese. Not how it should be made. Needless to say we called and complained but I was so hungry I didnt return it. Now I wish I had returned it. Today....I ordered a ham and cheese sub with my usual fixings on it. When I got it I was surprised at how light the sandwich was. When I opened it I could see why. It had 2 pieces of ham on it. When I called to complain the man on the other end blew me off! He said they hired a new cook and his first day was today and he would tell him "That he's doing a great job" then he hung up on me. WOW I guess they are cutting back on everything.
