On our way up to the White Mountains, we picked up a pizza and poppers. We used the online ordering system which was quick. The wait was about 45 mins so plan accordingly. The inside of the restaurant was clean and service was friendly. We ordered a very large pizza (maybe the biggest size - my hubby placed the order) with extra crust along with some cream cheese jalapeño poppers. The size of the pizza was crazy but in a good way. Extra crust means just that - extra crust! Don't forget to order a few sides of ranch cause you'll need it for dipping! This place was named the best pizza in the capitol area in the just out reader's poll. I'm glad we didn't try anywhere else. (Though I did have a pretty good slice 2 years ago at Lithermans Brewing.) We got the Margarita, a pizzeria standard. The bottom crust was very nicely crispy; the outsie crust, well-puffed, was quite bland from lack of salt. The "fresh tomato marinara" seemed just diced, not that ripe tomatoes, and not much of it. The fresh mozz was plenty and chewy, but also could have used a little salt. SUNDAY PIZZA SPECIAL For years we have enjoyed the Constantly location on Main for an occassional work lunch but mostly for one or two after work dinner takeouts. Their pizzas and subs have been consistently good, very few order hiccups. Over the past few months we have started to order their 18" 2 topping Sunday Pizza Special, online. We always encounter an issue when checking out. The 2 toppings are not included but added to, the pizza price. That absolutely great special of 16.99, prices out at 25.96, not bad, but not "Special". So we end up calling or going in to place the order directly and then pick it up, with an occassional delivery. Today that special arrived and the box on one side was wet. We opened the box to find that the majority of the cheese was a solid cold clump along the edge of one side of the pizza. Our 1st blip over yrs of takeout, was graciously remedied by Trevor. Me and a coworker went here for the first time today. First thing we noticed was when we got out of the car , we could smell the food from outside . Hello, I've got pizza here.Be for and this is the second time.I've gotten a sub i know things happen and things get busy but there really wasn't anybody in there. Other than 2 people I had orderd. The steak and cheese with sauteed onions and peppers with extra Mayo. And cheese maybe it's just the way you do it I don't know but I was not a fan of the sub. I felt it was dry. The onions and peppers were not sauteed, they were raw. And they put them underneath the meat was dry and I didn't like the cheese on top. Usually when you ask for steak and cheese. This was the second time I have been to Constantly Pizza. The first time was in 2024, where I bought a vegetarian pizza. It wasn't very good -- the crust was undercooked and they were skimpy on the toppings. And, the pizza was expensive. At that point I thought to myself "never again".. Now, I had a hankering for a toasted ham and cheese sub. It was 6:30pm and I was on South Main street in Concord, so I thought "How can they screw up a ham and cheese sub?".. So I went in and ordered a 10" toasted ham and cheese sub. I specified twice that I wanted it toasted. Sure enough, they didn't toast it! I had to ask them to unwrap the sub and toast it. While I was eating it, I was very dissapointed with the quality of the ham. I was hoping for some tasty, quality ham. Instead the ham was not very good. It tasted like smoked turkey ham! I came in with a van full of kids after a long day of hiking. We decided to come here because they have a large menu and they were still open at the hour we were passing through. Though we had such a large group, the staff didn't blanch at our crowd and took everyone's order. The inside is very casual with some small tables and we didn't want to overwhelm the other guests dining, so we decided to sit out on the adjoining patio. We were so happy to have that outdoor space to eat where we wouldn't bother anyone else. I was shocked at how quickly the food came out given our large group. My wife ordered a pepperoni/mushroom pizza. Showed up burnt. I had the Margherita pizza, at least that was what it was called. However, it was not. I was so disappointed just looking at it. NY style thin crust is supposed to be crusty, not limp and wimpy. The toppings (some awful looking basil I think) chunky tomatoe sauce. that was expected, and a ton of parm cheese. I did not see nor taste any mozzarella. I took two bites and tossed the rest into the trash. Plus, it came cold. What a waste of $20.00.
