My husband and I are harsh pizza critics and this is shockingly good Neapolitan style pizza! I also had to go back and get a special zucchini ricotta pizza, and we couldn't even finish an amazing goat cheese salad with caramelized red onions and pine nuts with the perfect honey dressing. I already want to go back to Bath and explore the cute town and try the Margherita among others at the Oven!

Maybe this is the best pizza in Bath, but it's very mediocre. Kind of flavorless really. And took…read moreforever to get - more than an hour (almost 90 min) after we ordered it. We waited long after others who had come in after us. Service was okay - they lost our booking somehow. I had the confirmation and the email reminder on my phone that I showed them. They were very confused but seated us and honored it. We started with a salad and the focaccia (which was really just a white pizza). Both were good. They have some nice wines. Then we had margherita pizzas and one speciality pizza. I asked for some chili oil to help give it some flavor but even that wasn't spicy. For dessert we had some ice cream and I tried a cannoli. Also mediocre. The shell was overdone and the cheese was just okay. I've never had one that only was made with ricotta and no mascarpone at all. Overall would not return - there are other good places in Bath we would like to try.

I have…read morehad a long line of order history with the company and they have fulfilled my customer satisfaction ratings every single time. The food is very well made and presented that proves to be vital in the takeaway market today. Dominos Pizza is considered to be only a 'takeaway' outlet and for that reason I would like to award a 4 star rating as a whole business but from a takeaway perspective I would give a 5. We have all heard rumours about companies such as Dominos and it's fellow rivals across town and tales of food poisoning etc.. Fortunately I have not personally encountered any of this and therefore I take all rumours with a pinch of salt.

Look in the local paper for money off vouchers or ask when you call as they usually have a deal on. I have also ordered from the internet, using a free voucher site to get a money off code first. The shop always looks clean and tidy and the staff are friendly, although it can seem as though you are being ignored sometimes. I think it is because only certain staff can deal with enquiries There is only a metal bench to sit on in the small reception area if you decide to wait the 10 minutes it takes to get your pizza. It's ok, just boring. Most people seem to nip to Farmfoods and get some shopping while waiting. Overall, good pizzas and at a competitive price, especially if you can get a deal! I've never had cause for complaint and have been using them for a few years now.

Wow! Sorrento has refurbished and expanded with new stylish decor and more tables!…read more I went for my usual Spicy pizza with extra chilli, chef decided to hide the chillis under a beautiful cheese layer. Always good to be surprised by a chilli kick. New wine menu on its way I believe with a return of the specials board. Go on give the Sorrento a try.

Later…read morein the evening when we were pondering where to go for our dinner, I saw that that Sorrento had received high praise on Trip Advisor, and our decision was made. The small restaurante is owned by a sweet Italian family. I love the homey atmosphere of the place. Large wooden tables, interesting ball wrapped fixtures, and friendly staff who offered quick service with helpful answers to questions about the menu. I had a glass of Chardonnay, which I was told would be a bit dry, but l found it quite lovely and mild. It was easy to drink and went nicely with all we ate. The Mozzarella In Carrozza (Breaded and deep fried mozzarella cheese in breadcrumbs served with basil scented napolitana dip) was fantastic. At £5.50, it was an excellent starter. I was expecting Mozzarella sticks, but what arrived to our table was a 3 or 4 inch round of deliciously oozy mozzarella in a crunchy bread coating. It was delicious. I went with the Pollo Alla Pizzaiola (Breast of chicken cooked in tomato, garlic, oregano, fresh mozzarella, white wine and basil pesto sauce). It came with a side of steamed vegetables (broccoli, carrots and potatoes). I would have enjoyed a small side of pasta with it for £13.50, but it was so delicious. For dessert, I had to go for the Souffle al Cioccolato, which is quite self explanatory. It was a seriously delicious and dense chocolate cake and the centre was so thick and luscious. It's more than worth the £4.95 price. This was by far the best dessert that I have had in England. Superb. I spoke with the owner after the meal to inquire as to whether the desserts were made in house and I was told that they were. The ice creams aren't, but the actual dessert is. I passed along my high praise. He had a nice conversation with us and offered us an after-dinner drink. We selected the Limoncello and it was amazing, and a nice end to a wonderful meal. I highly recommend this restaurant, and will look forward to a trip back to Stroud so we can return.

Its decor is Italian, Mediterranean, it's not high spec modern it's comfortable tasteful friendly & welcoming. It's an enjoyable place to sit and eat. They also have an outdoor are and function room beyond that. They would make more use of the outdoor area, it's a nice large, enclosed slabbed area. The function room is great, will seat 70-80 comfortably, it has it's own bar and toilets. Very clean, very warm & welcoming. Doesn't feel like you are stepping into a massive function room but stepping into a Mediterranean eatery. The food has been fantastic, the chefs will alter things to suit. The last time we went there our favourite dish wasn't on the specials board that night but we asked and they made it for us. We recently attended a party in the function room, there was a buffet. I am sure they do buffets to fit all budgets, I think this one was the lower buffet Price as it was a bit "Mums gone to Iceland". But nether the less I managed to eat plenty of it as it was delicious. Price wise, you get what you pay for. It's a great restaurant with great food. We had 2 starters, 2 main course, 2 desserts, 2 side orders, olives and bread, 1 bottle of house white & a couple of soft drinks and it was under £100. I call that value for money. I can't wait to eat there again!

The food is consistently good, the service friendly and the value unbeatable, highly recommended.read more
