The calzone was baked instead of fried and was the BEST calzone I have ever had. The chips were perfect and even the coleslaw was delicious (and I don't even like coleslaw!). We spoke to who we believe is the owner and he was very friendly and approachable and our server was a woman who could not have been better. Her service was as perfect as our meals. We highly recommend The 51st State Bar & Grill and will definitely be back next time we are in Dunoon.

It's an incredibly spacious restaurant that I'm pretty confident does takeaway, and I've never had a bad experience here - it's just not the greatest quality food. Our pasta main course was Tortelloni with Ham and Black Truffle in a Creamy Sauce. The fish was Salmon alla Romana, and we had an Aberdeen Angus Fillet, cooked rare to perfection, for our meat main.
