I ordered a Gluten Free Margharita Buffala pizza, which simply is a Margharia with Buffalo Mozzerella, it was quite nice, albeit there was probably too much buffalo mozzerella, and big lumps of it, the base was quite nice too but sadly it was a little soggy. I also ordered some potatoes to go with my meal, they were quite nice with the oil they put them in and a nice gluten free side, if you are a coeliac like myself. The service did seem quite quick, but I felt rushed as they come over when I hadn't decided what to order yet, and then came nowhere near me so I had to do a huge wave across the restauraunt, like a kid would do to say goodbye. There is also a fish and seafood special. They have responded well to the credit crunch and have two fantastic midweek offers (both of which I have tried!). Monday to Thursday you can have any pizza from the menu with a drink (beer, wine or soft drink) for £6.95 making it the perfect place for a quick bite to eat with the family or friends after work. There is also a three course meal on offer for £15.95 with a superb range of choice, with the usual traditional dishes, and some modern dishes with a twist. On my last visit I opted for the Penne al Pistacchio which was the perfect combination of ingredients. This place can get busy at weekends so you will need to book in advance.

The second reason is that they have a fantastic meal deal which means that you basically get a heap of food for almost nothing. The 'Meal deal for 2' consists of 2 x 10 inch pizzas, a garlic bread with cheese, 2 portions of fries and 2 cans of soft drink or bottles of water. The cost for all this is £11, which I think is less than the cost of just 2 pizzas. The amount you get could comfortably feed 3 hungry people. The pizzas are very tasty and they are adequately topped without being overloaded. I have had beef, chicken and seafood pizzas and enjoyed them all. Tyldesley is a town awash in take-aways so it can't be easy to make a success of the business with all that competition locally. Unless you have a decent product which these guys have. The downside of their premises is that it has zero curb appeal which probably puts off some passing customers, the exterior of the property could certainly do with freshening up.
