All of the food is excellent and I can highly recommend the hot and sour soup (guaranteed to shift a cold), the wun tun soup, aromatic duck (the quintessential Cantonese dish but just as good here as a restaurant in town) and classics sweet and sour Cantonese style or king prawn kung po. Soups are around £2, duck is £7 and mains are around £5. They have some very reasonable set menus. The waiting are is lovely, much nicer than most takeaway places. However if you don't fancy the wait you can always call ahead or they deliver within 3 miles for £1. They also take credit cards. Closed Mondays except bank holidays when they are open 5:00pm - 10:30pm

The first thing I will say for it is their prices are quite frankly ludicrous. It's a good thing that they're named after a prince, as they can't be making very much per meal at these prices. A regular pizza sets you back just £2.49, whereas any burger is a paltry £1.80, and kebabs start at just £2. As the name suggests, their piece de resistance is their pizza, and even at their rock bottom prices, it doesn't disappoint, with a great range of toppings to customise with (I'd personally recommend the tandoori chicken with the pepperoni - unconventional but delicious). The rest of the food is also good, and some of the best of its kind available in the immediate vicinity, but I'd go for the pizza every time.

Second, the staff is miserable and extremely rude. Third, it is so loud in there that you can't hear the people next to you talk. Manzil's is situated about a minutes walk from the Bull Ring and people in the know who know about curry know what I am talking about with this place. When you walk in, you are met with a homely and friendly atmosphere which makes it a delight to eat in. It's an old school curry house which I love. I really like the wallpaper! I have got to know the waiters as I have visited so many times, who are really chatty and are always happy to see you. If you see Hakeem, he loves his Football! The music they play is so random and unexpected. The last visit I made, they were playing Britpop hits of the 1990's haha On this visit, I was with 4 friends from down south who were visiting me for the day, who are tough critics I may add! I had the Chicken Pakora which was a great starter and just the right size to begin the meal. For the main course I had a lovely Dhansak which was really filling with Pilau rice. Manzil's speciality is their sizzling dishes which provides a good alternative if you are not in the mood for a hearty curry. The biggest surprise came when the bill arrived and we split it. One of my friends said "That price wouldn't even get you a starter which isn't half as good as that in London." Says it all really!

I really must go again, I whole heartedly suggest the rest of you do too.
