Look, if you like a simpler CiCi's pizza, this is the place to go. It's cozy, got decent food, and the wait time is almost non-existent. But I will have to say, this being my only visit, these employees work hard to make sure you feel welcome. But their jack hole of a boss "Stuart/Stewart" apparently talks to the employees like they're dogs. My poor waitress left in tears. I heard other patrons saying they should get their food for free but that's just ridiculous. Don't take advantage of a situation like this. Over the years, I have eaten here several times. While I enjoy the fact that they offer a wide assortment of types of pizza which you can enjoy, there seems to be a problem. Most often, no matter the time I go there to dine --lunch is typically when I go, the pizzas, not just one or two of them, are cold. Cold pizza is not appetizing. Is there no warming elements on the buffet to keep them warm? The pizzas that they bring out from the kitchen are hot & so very delicious, but they go really fast because people swarm the buffet once they are put down. Is there something that can be done about the other pizzas, including the dessert ones, that can keep them warmer so they, too, can be enjoyed?!?! We have eaten here several times over the years. I have noticed the buffet selection has drastically changed. They put out pizzas with the same toppings every time I have been there the last year (cheese, pepperoni, taco, blt and buffalo chicken). During the last visit, our waitress was great. She noticed we had not eaten much so she asked if there was something we would like to request. We requested ham and beef. I heard her tell the folks in the kitchen about the special request. We waited a while and I finally asked if they were making our request. She went in to check on it and came out and told us they would not make it for us because it was two of the most expensive meats. Paying $28+ for the buffet and only eating 4 slices (between two people) of pizza is just too costly. For a place that has been servicing Christiansburg Va since 1958 it was great. The place is clean and the buffet is clean and was constantly serviced by the staff. Plenty of hot pizza and pizza sweets available. Kami our server made sure we had what was needed. And Lance the on duty Manager came and visited the table to make sure we had everything. Hit or miss. biggest issue is the lack of management and customer service, the servers are ok but they are terrified of the mgr for some reason and when we requested a simple pizza that wasn't on the bar we were told the owner didn't reply, asked again and the waiter said the owner wasn't going to do it. I asked for a Meat Lover's pizza to be added to the buffet & was told that I could request no more than 2 meat toppings. What a disappointment! We have eaten here before and the food and service was great but tonight the food and service was terrible. Specifically Asher was horrible he kept reaching directly in front of me and over my plate while I was trying to eat. The pizza was not fresh on the buffet. Great place to stop and eat for a family with young children. The kids had a blast picking out diffrent kinds of pizza and the staff even made special ones they wanted. I was not put on the schedule. Boss said he couldn't accommodate my hours, which is bull. I worked 10hr days on the weekend with a ten minute break. He says I wasn't training for closing, well you can't learn when you are sent home at 8:00, I am available 7 nights a week. So that doesn't fly. The truth is he didn't like me standing up for myself. He was saying things about the hours and I corrected him. I guess he didn't like being told he was wrong. I did nothing wrong and he was wrong and very unfair.
