I looked at my DoorDash app and noticed that this Firehouse Subs was offering free delivery. Yes, please! I frankly hadn't eaten anything from this chain for a few years. I've only been to the Markham location. My order featured these items: - Medium New York steamer (with cucumber and no deli mustard) - Diet Coke (bottle) It was fun having the DoorDash delivery person leave my food in front of my door and knock before leaving. I like having food almost magically appear for me to enjoy... haha! It was my first time trying the NY steamer. I loved it so much. The protein was warm and tender. I got it with cucumbers that gave this sub a nice crunch. I also got mayo. The bread was perfect. Simple and delicious. My sub came with a pickle spear. It complemented my sub nicely. My bottle of Diet Coke was cold and washed everything down. I was happy. I had a great experience getting lunch from this eatery. I hope to visit it when I'm back in Hamilton and see what it's like.
