The interior is tastefully decorated, and makes use of every square millimetre of space available making for an experience that is not for the claustrophobic, or those with national secrets to discuss over dinner. However this is because on most nights it is packed to the rafters with diners, and in the fickle dining market of Robe, that is an accolade in itself.

Larry (sorry, 'The Big Lobster') is one of those childhood memories that are just as impressive as an adult. Seriously! This review is actually for the 17 metre high 4 tonne lobster rather than the cafe attached to it ... otherwise it would have received a 3 star rating from me, just being a greasy-spoon joint with some Big Lobster souvenirs ;) I'm giving it 5 stars just for being awesome and weird, and making me laugh every time we drive by. As a side note, it's currently for sale - only $327,400 will buy you a massive lobster and a cafe. Tempted? I know I am ;)

The coffee was perfect, on par with anything I've had in Adelaide, and the staff very friendly & accommodating, making my wife's coffee exactly as discussed, no extra cost for double shots. And their menu even acknowledges kids - they simply serve kids adult food, in half sizes, at half price, which I haven't seen before. An easy 5 stars for our experience.
