Do you want to order a pizza on Friday night to go? We waited 45 minutes. If the pizza wasn't so damn good I would've left.

I am very disappointed with this Pizza Ranch. I have gone here for several years and have always been satisfied. This time they messed up my order by putting sauce on entire order when I ordered it with sauce on side. I called and they said since it was ordered online we won't do anything. I have never had a restaurant mess up an order and NOT CARE because that is what I got. It's not our problem. Last visit to this ranch and probably any other as well. read more

Food is amazing enough space for kids to go play family friendly best place to throw a kids party

This is basically the only place in town that offers gluten free food, but it stands up to a lot of other food places I've been to (I'm from Illinois, just visiting). I've gotten it twice and the first time the crust was very crisp (in a good way) but the second time it was limp which wasn't the best, but still a good pizza As far as I can tell, they didn't cross contaminate my pizza (I have an allergy so I would've felt the effects by now) which tends to happen with a lot of pizza places Overall an excellent location. OK so I'm originally from Iowa, but I've been living out in Colorado for the last 10 years. My parents still live in Iowa and they happen to live in Creston. Not a big town by any means so you can't be too picky when it comes to food. You either make your own or you choose from the few restaurants they have. Pizza Ranch is OK, they have the "Mile-long Buffet&trade" or you can order off the menu they have a variety of specialty pizzas. They also have the "Country's Best Chicken". Pretty good I might add. It's a chain but for the area you can't complain. If you're cruising through Creston and are hungry for pizza or chicken, check em' out. Yee Haw! read more

We have been hesitant to come back to buffets since the covid thing started. Today was the 1st time for us. We could not have been happier with pizza ranch.. They were clean, the food was fresh and hot. My husband got chicken and and he said it was excellent. The only problem is, we overate. And we probably will again in the future when we come here. read more

I've been here 4 times now. It's been hit or miss each time. I like that they offer a gluten free crust, but it usually comes out burned. While it may be gluten free, it is prepared with gluten food. Last night we called in an order to be picked up. The order had to be repeated three times. It was around 4:30 so not a busy time of day. I went to pick it up. Got there about 10 minutes too early. There were no customers. Went ahead and paid. They didn't take the $5.00 off for points. The guy at the register said no, you'll get it next time. The last time we were there he said that $$ would be taken off this time. (My family has gone often enough to get points. I have only had this about 4 times) After waiting, I noticed the manager? and the guy talking. She sent him over to tell me they put cheese on the pizza that requested no cheese. But if wanted to wait, they could make up another one. Another 15 minutes. I said no because then the other pizza would be cold. She said OK sorry. And tried to ring it up. I told her I had already paid. She tried to ring it up anyway. I told her again and she said OK I guess you did. That was it. No adjustment made for their mistakes. No offer of any kind of coupon for next time.. something would have been nice. There was no excuse for this. The order receipt even said no cheese. They only had to make two pizzas. If you are looking for decent service, this isn't the place. I'm giving it 3 stars because my family likes their pizza for the most part. I won't eat it anymore. read more

Not a big fan of Pizza Ranch in general but this location seems to be one of the better operations I've stumbled across. My grandmother swore that this was the "best chicken in town!" The buffet is well placed and they seem to turn over the food items fairly quickly. I never felt like I found a piece of pizza or chicken here that had been sitting for an unreasonable amount of time. My boyfriend and I paid for the buffet to get a slice of pizza and a tablespoon of potatoes. Then we sat there for 45min. Occasionally browsing the pizza they already had out after the birthday party and family gathering of 6 tables/booths had picked through it so slim pickings for sure. Of course the staff were eating the buffet as well so they were knowingly ignoring the fact they weren't putting more food out. We asked for a pizza when we paid and left with it in a to go box as they never put the order in but gave us a guestcall buzzer for it. When we asked for more potatoes we were asked if they could bring us a plate and when we denied as we would like to serve ourselves the eye roll was appreciated the most. The service sucks and apparently no one knows what's going on as "Let me go ask someone" was the only answer we actually got tonight. They can't ever find the person running the register and turned away a customer which wasn't a loss on their part as there was still no food by then anyways. It may have been close to the end of the night but 2 hours till close is no reason to stop serving customers. And as we left the family was still waiting on the chicken they ordered. Best staff in Iowa My friends and I had an epically challenging ride on the Amtrak California Zephyr. We heard the announcement (read, "out of food"), and dinner was going to be Snowpiercer style. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1706620/) We called Pizza Ranch from Omaha, talked with Jordan, and put in the order. Harper was at the station, on the platform when the train pulled in. Everyone, everyone on the train thought it could not be done, but it was. The pizza (simple pepperoni) was awesome, the chicken (hot, because anything else is a waste) was boss. Riding the Amtrak train through and was able to get delivery in our 2 minute stop. That is a level of service I have rarely seen.
