They are SO very warm, so very kind, so very welcoming and friendly. It's a small restaurant with a lot of heart. First they bring bread and olives and sheep milk cheese to nibble on. We ordered the clams - pretty sure it's cooked with wine, butter, garlic, cilantro & garlic and they give you a nice sized lemon wedge to squeeze all over it. SO GOOD. Back to the fish - that first bite blew my mind. It was so fresh, so perfectly salted, so smokey, so melt in your mouth. Whole boiled potatoes come to the table and a simple mixed salad with romaine, tomatoes, beets, come purple cabbage, cucumber. We used the olive oil and vinegar on the table, salt & pepper on the boiled potatoes and man was it tasty....so simple perfect. At the end of the meal, they brought us tiny terracotta cups that they fill with pomegranate & cinnamon schnapps that is such a lovely finish alongside some espresso that we ordered.
