The lady who attempted to style my hair was struggling and asked the nice lady next to her to try to finish the job. They do a poor job with short hair. This salon is way overpriced. I spent over $250 in several hours, to have yellow highlights, when I was very clear, I wanted no yellow only white. Then paid $65 for a stacked bob haircut that was anything but that haircut. read more

Belinda changed my hair color from medium brown to black without my permission. when I asked her to fix it she said she could do highlights or bleach it, knowing those solutions would not be acceptable. Either she doesn't know, or thought I didn't know, that there are products that could help remove the color or at least fade it safely, she just didn't want to deal with the mistake she made. Additionally, the time before she charged me for a hair cut I didn't have, she said she would credit me the next time, which she did, however then she over charged me for a blow dry to make up for it. Be warned and be careful, make sure you know the prices in advance and be very clear about what you are having done. I don't believe Pizzazz's management would allow this behavior if they knew what she is doing. I have used other of their salons before and they were always honest. read more

Extremely upset. I had an appointment one week prior to my wedding for an eyebrow tint. I had been there multiple times with no issues. This time, the tint was put on my eyebrows and the tech disappeared. I knew how long she had been gone as I started texting when she left the room. After she didn't return after 15 minutes, I had to go out in the salon and ask for someone to locate her. She came back in my room, and said it had only been five minutes, I told her no, I had my messages showing how long it has been. As soon as she wiped off the tint, she said "oh, its dark, but it will lighten." I was so angry, I went to the front desk to pay and just leave. She came up to ring me up and she just kept telling me it was fine, there were two other employees up there who knew how upset I was, no one offered any assistance. And then the kicker? She charged me for the tinting and a wax, which she did not wax my eyebrows. I was so flustered/angry that I just paid and left. I am thoroughly upset with the whole experience and with 3 employees knowing there was an issues no one offered any solution *and* I was charged for a service I didn't receive. read more

What a wonderful facial, so relaxing I didnt want it to end. The mani was excellent, dip powder is the way to go. Teshy is a true artist, super sweet and very detailed oriented. She took the time to make sure I was completely satisfied. I was so lucky, I got the service for $15!! The salon have great atmosphere, promotions, and reward programs. No wonder they have been around for over 40 years! I also received a thank you card in the mail, what a nice touch. They know how to treat a customer. I have received so many different services at Pizzazz over the course of the last few years. From getting my green hair completely fixed and having beautiful chocolate cherry hair (thank you Georgina!) to receiving chemical peels, eyebrow waxing, facials, getting my nails done, eyebrow tinting, and eyelash extensions from Teshy. Teshy is so patient with me considering I wince and move a lot. I absolutely loved when she waxed my eyebrows and tinted them. I was a little scared at first because I thought they were going to turn out super dark but fortunately as soon as she wiped it all of it looked great! I do have full eyebrows with some patches and the tint kinda helped hid those empty patches I have. The facials I have received from Teshy have been so relaxing and nice and my skin always ends up glowing! I also have received 2 chemical peels. The first one I was such a cry baby because it had never been anything I experienced and I have a low pain tolerance so it caught me by surprise but the second time I knew what I was expecting and was able to sit through it longer and I'm so happy I did because it helped get rid of a lot of acne scars I had on my jawline from my late teens and early 20s. I also love when I get eyelash extensions there because I have super straight eyelashes so I always have to curl them and put on mascara which I don't mind but it's so much easier when you don't have to worry about that and really saves me time in the mornings. The Salon is clean, attractive and well located with inexpensive, value pricing. However, customer service is, as pointed out by others, not their priority. I recently experienced an appointment timing mishap. I showed up an hour earlier than their appointment book indicated and that COULD have been my fault OR theirs. Instead of apologizing and asking if I would come back later Jill, the stylist, got defensive and borderline rude. Space prevents. me from detailing the ridiculous conversation. The correct way to handle the situation was to apologize profusely and not to tell me I was wrong and ask who I talked to in an accusatory manner. Jill may be, and probably is, a good stylist but her interaction with relatively new customers should be limited. I waited 10 minutes to be told about the timing crunch because there was no one at the front desk. They lost what would have been a loyal customer and a generous tipper. Situations like this can showcase a well run business and allow it to shine by deflecting and resolving a small problem. Salon management needs to be more involved and properly train their staff on the basics of customer contact. read more

Me & my best friend went in to get our nails done to get nexgen because they were having a promotion for $15. We weren't expecting much, but we were not expecting to basically be their test dummies. the lady who did both our nails took over an hour, had no idea what she was doing and absolutely tore up our nail beds when filling them (talk about painful) Not to mention she made countless mistakes and now both sets of our nails look like we glued gumdrops on them. thought I had found the one but I became very disuaded after the second appt. that I made. I arrived 15 min early and Charise was getting ready to take someone in my place. She commented you didn't come when you were supposed to? I was perplexed. My appointment was at 2:00 it was 1:45. She went ahead and took the other girl anyway. Said you don't mind to you? what was I gonna say. Then she got half the back of my shirt soaking wet and really didn't seem concerned. Unfortunately a very elderly lady in the next chair also got soaked as well. they really didn't seem concerned. The first cut I really liked it fit my head was done exactly like I asked. I am super impressed with how fast my skin has changed. Teshy is the best. She has the best hands ever and is more knowledgeable about skin than anyone I've ever met.    I had developed red, itchy cheeks and I just didn't know what to do. From time to time it could look like I was bit by a bee. I didnt know what to do and a friend of mine referred me to her.  Teshy exceeded my expectations. She used amazing products for my skin.  Gave me a relaxing, soothing massage and finished with the blue LED light. She explained clearly what could've triggered my skin's reaction and what to avoid.  She also gave me a daily routine to follow. I left her room super relaxed, hydrated and with a healthy glow on my skin. The next day revealed a noticeable improvement in my skin's texture.  It looks much better and smoother. I took my son here yesterday to get a haircut, unfortunately the hairline was choppy where it should not have been. A few minor mistakes were made. No big deal, easily addressed. So today I thought we would swing by and ask for a couple corrective snips (at the hairdressers convenience). Immediately, he became defensive, as if his ego had been damaged. Blaming my son as he stood before him: for how he groomed himself, then blaming me for the reason he was rushed. It was quite upsetting, as a parent and as a consumer who normally works with a higher level of professionalism. The bottom line, if you value perfection and customer service and satisfaction from your salon, this is not the place to go. read more
