The spaghetti was firm and not overcooked. On the other hand, it was served steaming hot - in fact, steam was trapped inside the pasta, making it harder to get into. The tomatoes in my spaghetti were acid-forward and dying for umami. The sauce needed to be cooked down to achieve the desired thickness.
On the positive side, the pizza was better. We asked for honey to help add sweetness, which really confused our waiter somehow. Maybe it's not a common condiment in Europe? But they did have a squeeze bottle of it.
I was hopeful for quality since they had a specials board, but really, this restaurant is a tourist trap.
