Delicious gluten free pizza and pasta in Nuremberg, Germany! They were able to get us in without a reservation on the heated patio for lunch. My mom and I split the Quattro Formaggi pizza and the Spaghetti ai Gamberi. We really enjoyed the pizza. The crust is a little doughy but it was really good. The GF pasta noodles are penne. The menu said it was a white wine sauce but the sauce was red. It was a little bland but okay. The service and ambiance was good. Overall, a great spot, especially if you are gluten free! read more

I wanted to give more stars, but my pizza was unfortunately a soggy mess. The outer crust was nice, albeit a bit burned. Anything further in was a wet heap of dough with toppings. I am hoping that this was an isolated incident, but I won't order pizza here again. The tiramisu, on the other hand, was spectacular. The presentation was stunning and the taste was spot on. I loved this place! I found it off of the good yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. My husband and I went in for an early dinner and even though we didn't have a reservation they squeezed us in, but did give us a time constraint of 1 hour and 20 minutes which was more than enough time to enjoy our meal and not have to rush. We both ordered pizza. My husband got the Italian sausage and mushroom pizza. 4 stars. I got the mushroom pizza and loved every single bite! 5 stars! We found this place on our last night in Nuremburg and had we been staying longer I would have eaten there again! The staff was very nice and the service was great, but if there was one thing they could work on it would be the employees smoking near the entrance. It is unsightly and the smell lingers in the restaurant and that was unpleasant, but other than that I would highly recommend this place it was delicious! read more

Absolutely fantastic food. Everything we tried was simple, delicious and meticulously prepared and presented. No unnecessary frills, just quality food. The service was friendly despite crowds trying to get a table/moving around the restaurant and the outdoor seating area. We tried 2 different wines, the mixed grilled antipasti, small mixed salad and spaghetti with shrimps. After the meal we felt thoroughly satisfied and can only recommend this place. read more

A colleague on a work trip told me all about the truffle pasta. She told me that they shave the truffle on top. I've never seen anything like that in my life. Friends in the states asked me if it were cheese or garlic due to how much they were putting on top. We must be close to truffle country. The wait staff is super friendly - the waiter lies and told me he ate my food. They were attentive and kind. I feel pretty lucky that this place came so highly recommended and it delivered on all of these measures. The portions are pretty tiny - my boss and I ordered three dishes to share and we finished them all. For dessert I got soufflé but it was more like the American molten lava cake than an actual soufflé. I really enjoyed the restaurant. :) read more

Have been here a couple times during business travel. I had the caprese to start and a special of grilled calamari and black squid ink sauce with broccoli and potatoes...AMAZING! For great Italian food this is the place for me in Nuremberg! Went back again tonight another delicious meal...a shell fish appetizer of clams, mussels and razor clams only wish there was more...the filet pasta was amazing and more Sangiovese and lemon cello another after drink cooked by this great staff with great service and amazing food! read more

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in the world. The chef has mastered his craft. I have been to Nuremberg twice. Both times I dined here. And was then compelled to return the next night. Both times. The last time I ate here, I asked that the chef to select my meal and I was treated to a wonderful journey of surprising dishes. I had the pleasure of a visit from the chef at the end of the meal. He joined me for a glass of wine and warm conversation. Truly kind, humble and talented young man. The staff are all what you would expect to be surrounding culinary excellence. Professional and funny. I will be back next time in Nuremberg. Probably twice. read more

Tucktaway in the back corner in the city center of Nürnberg it's a nice little Italian restaurant that has indoor and outdoor seating. I've been here a few times now during my long stay in the city and I really enjoyed the restaurant. I've had a very spicy pepperoni pizza here that was amazing and their Chardonnay selection is superb at a good price. If you like it spicy..say no more as they have some of the spiciest chili pepper oil that I have ever had at a restaurant. And if you're feeling a little crazy ask for the lemon cello it is delicious! read more

Delicious meal! Grilled octopus was delicious! House salad was a nice change from German cuisine with no fresh vegetables. Pizza with salami (mixed half and half with spicy and regular) was VERY good. Pasta with salmon was VERY good also. Our 4 star rating is mostly due to our waiter completely forgetting about us towards the end of our meal. Ended a tasty meal with perfect tiramisu for dessert. read more

Good restaurant. Good menu. Pizza was very affordable and a great size for the price. Highly suggest reservations as they seem to be very busy and there didn't appear to be a quick table turnover. We sat outside which was nice, but didn't get to see decor of the restaurant. read more

Walked in and the owner asked "reservations?" I said Nein, zwei? The man was definitely italian but must have snagged my accent and said in english it will be about 20 minutes to wait. I said the reviews are so good we'd like to wait if that is ok- he said oh yes, yelled something to the bartender and handed us two glasses of prosecco! I knew it would be worth it. We waited less than 20 minutes had a nice table for two, amazing menu, a little light on the wine by the glass- they didn't have a chianti by the glass?? But he suggested Merlot which was fine- they had an extensive by the bottle menu. There was a pasta dish like linguine, they would dump it hot into a wheel of parmesean and toss it around, twirl it and then plate it covered in a cream sauce and truffle shavings I wish I had known but didn't see it til after we ordered- it was THE dish to order from the looks of the place. I would love to go back and try it. To be honest I don't even remember what we ordered but I know we left very happy. The service....impeccable, the food delicious and the atmosphere was great. We always have italian food when in Germany to break up the german food places and it is always great- this had to be the best- they also are always run by italians. So it is a treat to get the real deal rather than americanized versions of the food. OH and they always speak multiple languages and many times have english menus although I can certainly read enough italian food words to get something good. read more

Came here because of Yelp reviews. Restaurant is kinda hidden but was packed, there is a reason for that. They told me to come back an hour later and I did after wandering the city. I was surprised. Not expensive but very good food. I travel a lot and had Italian food everywhere but this is probably one of the best pizza's I've had in a long time. The menu is just right in size, not 1000 different dishes. Antipasti - pizza - dessert is the way to go here. Would really recommend. Make sure to call in for a table! Also decent wine selection. What a place. Off the beaten path, but well known to locals. Fabulous traditional Italian dishes from mid to southern Italy. Good size portions, fresh ingredients, wonderful wine selection, and very understanding and patient waitstaff. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves so much we went back the next night. Very popular so you certainly should make a reservation. Can not recommend this place enough. Wait until you see them toss pasta on the Romano wheel; you'll understand when you see it. read more
