Food was quite good (there's more than pizza) and the customer service was friendly. The garlic soup was our favorite. Tiramisu was a bit harder than some I've had but still good. A suggestion for the outside terrace, they have it covered so we could eat in the rain and nature, but the modern rope lights on the deck are very bright, Perhaps dimmable lights would be better or something to diffuse them. Good pizza restaurant in a small town. We chose it because it was close to our hotel and had relatively good reviews on google. Everything here closes early, but according to Google, Kegelbahn Pizzeria closes at 10pm. We were approaching the restaurant a little after 8pm and a man told us it was late but that we could go ahead and seat ourselves. He was actually the chef! The inside was spacious with a room that also has two bowling lanes. This part was closed so I'm not sure how much it cost. We sat down and the chef came in and explained that the kitchen was closed but he could make us something from the pizza or pasta menu. He was patient and explained some items to us (before we realized that the English portion of the menu was on the back). We ordered three pizzas which were all pretty good. There's no going wrong with pizza! Margharita was nice and cheesy. Cappriciosa (salami, ham, anchovies and mushrooms) - I don't eat mushrooms but bf has confirmed the pizza was good! Picked off the anchovies because it was too salty. Al Capone (corn, bacon, ham, onion, chilli peppers) - I loved the chilli peppers because it adds a kick to the pizza. I also added more chilli flakes as well. The corn and onion are both sweet and balances out the spiciness of the pizza. Prices were reasonable and nothing from the pizza menu was over €13,20. We ate here one night after staying at a nearby hotel. We chose to eat here because it was so close to our hotel, but it turned out to be a good decision. When you enter, you notice that everything around you is wooden, which looks very nice - it has a good alpine setting, perfect for the restaurant's location. The hostess took us through the main room into the back. This was great, because our room had nice views out the windows and had other tourists eating in it. Also, unlike the main room, our small room was non smoking. The staff was pretty good in getting us our food. I had the spaghetti carbonara and was very happy with it. My wife also enjoyed her spaghetti bolognese. Overall we were very happy with this place and would be happy to go here again. read more

Did not have the pizza, but if you like fresh fish go to this place and order the fresh trout dish. You will be simply amazed. Super fresh stream caught trout fried in a butter sauce with maybe some Turkish spices. Crisp skin and perfectly cooked inside. Really tasty. Let the kids have the pizza. read more

Relief to find a working restaurant near Obertraun station on a Thursday! They do takeaway and I could also secure coffee takeaways for my family waiting with the luggage in the station. Owner is very nice. read more
