The greek farm salad was exactly what I wanted; lots of tomatoes, cucumber, and onions with a couple olives, topped with two slices of feta and drizzled with olive oil and herbs. It wasn't some mind-blowing salad, but it was a nice change of pace to get so much fresh veggies in Germany. If I liked ouzo I'd have enjoyed the complementary shot of it that came with my Sprite, but I'm just not a fan of licorice-flavored liquor unfortunately.

The restaurant serves classic German and modern German dishes. They have a different special every evening all served in a comfy cozy atmosphere. The tables are classic string wood with benches, booths, and comfy chairs. Christine is a great hostest / waitress / bartender (beer and wine and limited aperitif) who may even be cooking back in the kitchen. I had a good Wiezen beer and I ordered the special which was a Feldsalat, Turkey Rolls with mashed potatoes and a homemade turkey gravy. The Feldsalat had bacon strip crumbles, bacon vinaigrette dressing and homemade croutons that were straight from the oven and still hot. So good! The turkey roll was moist and delicious and the gravy top it all off. A great meal and I will definitely be back!
