These were dry; I think they'd been sitting out for a while.

Way looking for pizza, and this place has great reviews! I was especially pleased that they sold pizza by the slice, since most of my meals here have been giant sized.a modest meal was very appealing. Unfortunately, the pizza just wasn't that good. They reheated it before serving, but it was tough and not very flavorful. Just generally looked and tasted like it had been sitting out for some time. While I was eating, a whole bunch of fresh new pizzas went out, and those looked much more appetizing! If only if waited 15 more minutes.... Slices are generously sized and most are in the three to four Euro range. I'd just look carefully before you buy, and make sure you only go for something fresh.

This was a great little pizza spot, serving slices on the go. The cheese/sauce/ingredients they use are definitely fresh and tasty. I especially gave 5 stars because the service really stood out to me. I was there on a Wednesday night around 9 PM picking up slices, there was one girl working the counter. While I was waiting in line and looking at slices, two women came in and just cut me in line. I was a little annoyed but let it go, I didn't realize she had noticed as well and when she finished serving the previous customer. She looked at me and asked me for my order, even though the other two women were before me in line. I think that speaks volumes of this establishment, they believe in being fair and giving their customers great service. The pizzas were very well made, the crust was nice and crunchy, the tomato sauce was flavorful. I would definitely recommend!

Vegan slice and with the recommendation of the lady serving me, the cheery tomato pizza is very popular!

Wonderful little pizzeria, I know I'm in Portugal and should be having Portuguese food, but looking at beautiful these pizzas are, I couldn't resist! They're all individually priced, tons of options for meatlovers, vegans. I had the vegetarian and the other one I got was full of cherry tomatoes with seasoning on top! Pizza was so fresh! Love this place, I'll be back before I leave Lisbon.

Wow the slices were really good! I always order pizza fresh as a whole because slices are not that fresh. This is i was on a new city and not much time. It was reasonably priced. But the thing was than it looked and tasted really good! The slices were fresh, ingredients flavourful and it was filling. Off to more sight seeing! Hello from Portugal! Stopped by this pizza joint earlier this afternoon and boy am I happy I did. The small store front makes it clear that it's all about the food. Guests are met with an array of options for cheese, meat, veggie, and vegan pizza lovers! Slices are cut Sicilian style without the thickness/ heaviness of the bread. You can choose from more traditional or Portuguese style varietals that will dance on your tongue with every bite. The service was quick and friendly and the price is right! If you're looking to satisfy your pizza craving, check out this spot!

Very convenient to the cruise port and the pizza is AMAZING. The perfect crust. I couldn't see the oven but it looks like wood fire char. Incredibly fresh ingredients. Worth the short walk.

I was tired, I was just hungry, and I wanted a place to grab a quick bite alone. This place was really tasty! If you don't want to sit at a restaurant and want good quick food this place was delightful, and just great pizza. ( I didn't care much for the cheese rice ball, but if you're a big fan of cheese it won't offend you)

Solid Italian restaurant in a touristy part of town. We were hungry and saw Da Vinci. Before we…read morewalked in I had to check Yelp and the reviews were solid so we decided to give it a try. Plus, my 6-year old just got off our tour bus and needed a bathroom break All of our orders came out in good time and our server was very helpful and friendly. We chatted a bit about his family in California. We ordered two steaks with wine reduction sauce. Very good. One steak was over cooked but it was fine. Clams as appetizer was awesome with the house bread. One order of lasagna and I would give it a 8/10 compared to other restaurants at home. One order of pasta carbonara. It was good but not outstanding. One order of spaghetti bolognese. That one was average. We just arrived from Barcelona a few days before Lisbon and we were missing sangria so we ordered one pitcher. It's not as good as the ones in Barcelona but then again this is not Barcelona. For dessert we ordered 3 ice cream and a tiramisu. The ice cream was over-priced at 8 Euro each. Skip dessert and go get some great pastries or gelato outside around the plaza.i

I had the lasagna and it looked fantastic, it didn't taste quite as good. It kind of acidic, slightly but lacked a lot of flavour sadly. I put lots of cheese on it but is only partially fixed it. We also had a salami pizza and spaghetti boulegnese. Both were ok. Spaghetti was tasty but maybe a little fatty tasting and the pizza was thin crust but not crispy or firm at all. Just alright. We also had the fruit crepes for dessert, they were just ok, not worth having. The ones I had at Josephine up town were miles better. These were the doughy kind of texture which I don't like. Sorry it didn't blow me away as I was hoping so. But I also didn't realise it is smack in the middle of the tourist area, we had spent most of our trip uptown near Alfama and it is way more authentic and real... And way cheaper. I think fish was €50 here, and for a tiny fish. If you go uptown you cms get that for €15 max, and way bigger...

And thus, in no particular order, while trying to work my way through the large number of places I…read morewent, and wrote review drafts for, on our trip to Portugal a couple months ago... I get to by far the worst restaurant I've been to in a while, at least in a case where I was certainly expecting the opposite, and one of the worst reviews I've written in a long time. I have no idea what entirely different-sounding restaurant most of these people went to... it started out badly, when we got there, the first ones after they opened, for our reservation, the music was quite loud, so after being seated, we asked our server if she could turn it down, and she gave her an irritated look and stomped off. We think she turned it down a tiny bit for a couple minutes, then turned it back up even louder. My wife literally said (I was facing the other direction) that she saw that waitress trying to talk to another waiter and having a hard time due to the music volume. Wasn't quite the right vibe for 12:30 for lunch, was a bit more of a late evening bar vibe, music-wise? But also yeah, our waitress had a bit of an attitude. We talked about just walking out and going somewhere else, which I wish I had, but I'd seen so many great reviews, and we had a reservation, so we ordered a couple things, which did arrive pretty quickly there after. We tried, at the time (though I get the impression the menu probably also rotates pretty often) Potato cabbage chorizo balls - super bland, they just tasted like shaped balls of mashed potato. Didn't taste any chorizo or even cabbage, really. Boring. Squid - the worst squid I'd had in a while. The sauce was tasty enough but nothing amazing; the squid itself was way over-cooked, also, over-*grilled* specifically, it tasted charred. I still ate it, but it definitely wasn't worth 16 euros. A "pickled rabbit/quince/chorizo", because I was just so curious what it was. This one was actually super fun, unique and interesting, saving the restaurant as a whole from only getting one star. I was surprised after the other two. I've definitely never had anything like it before, and likely never will. There were a whole bunch of flavors, all great. But their menu is a chalk-board, so I have no idea if it's still being served, or if it disappeared from the menu a week after I was there in January. Their wine is also very much... American priced. If it were in Long Beach, 9 euro (or its American equivalent) for a glass of the house wine would seem very reasonable, and if it were in Los Angeles, it'd be downright cheap - in Portugal, though, I'd gotten used to much cheaper glasses of wine, so that was a bit surprising. I did like that they had a by-the-glass orange wine, though, so obviously I had a glass of the house orange wine. It was pretty decent. I'd have been happy for a red or white wine for half the price, though, as seemed common for similar restaurants nearby. That wouldn't have mattered so much if the food had been, overall, better, though, and the service hadn't been... a little snotty.

One of the most memorable dining experiences of all time. We spent 4 nights in Lisbon and came…read morehere twice, that's how great it was. I typically would avoid going to the same restaurant twice during a short stay in a city with so many good eats, if I can help it. In fact, I had already planned out all of my meals and made the proper reservations. But after having dinner the first night here, I had to cancel the reservation for our last night in Lisbon and snatch a reservation at Baldracca again. Between the two nights, we sampled almost all the items we wanted to try on the blackboard. That's part of the reason for the 2nd reservation. There were so many creative and delicious dishes that we just couldn't try with one meal between two people, so we had to come back the 2nd time. But the food is only one part (an important part) of the whole experience. We love the energy, the vibe, and the people in this little restaurant. Our first night there, we had the earliest reservation (i.e. when the restaurant open for the night). The servers got all of us in and seated, then literally had the "Listen up, this is how it goes..." to let everyone know what the restaurant is about, how many dishes to order based on how many in the party etc etc... They are very causal and basically said to enjoy and flag any of them down when ready to order or need of anything. Then they turn up the music and I felt like I am in a family or friend party event. Music blasting, dishes served, people chit chatting, laughing, just having a great time. We went back the 2nd time, the owner actually recognized us and welcomed us warmly. Because we snatched a later reservation that 2nd night, he even sat down at the end of the meal to talk to us a bit. Upon learning that we are visiting Porto next, he took some time to write down restaurant recommendations on a piece of paper and handed to us and offered us to try some of the sweet wine they made (which was absolutely delicious). We took a picture with him and honestly can't thank him enough. Truly a very special place because of the food, the atmosphere, and the people!
